22.01.2022 I got down to a few games to see how the boys from our programs are going and was very pleased with what I saw.I also received a photo of a player showing great improvement from last year ,displaying good technique.Well done .

22.01.2022 So we wrapped up our Program for 2020 tonight and yet again had a great group of kids . Along with learning the skills required they how to respect a coach through handshakes and eye contact. I am thrilled with the progress they made ,yes the kicking still needs work but learning the skill of side stepping(selling candy)and effective handball as well as the basic skill of bouncing the ball to help with kicking technique im sure their self belief will be at a whole new level a...nd that makes it all worth it . Loved every minute . Also all those who participated get a free 30 min session with me to use anytime im available next year due to my sick day. Thank and have a great Xmas and New Year. See more

22.01.2022 Hello everyone as you will see we still have some vacancies. These are the sessions allocations,now I may have made a mistake so please read through carefully and make sure I got your days right. As you will see because of the bigger amount of 7 to 10 than expected I have increased the session sizes to 10 kids ,I have done this because I will have an extra coach or 2 to help.... I would love to have a maximum number of 10 kids in each group of the 7 to 10 age group ,I would appreciate it if anyone can change to the 4:00 to 4:45 Tuesday /Thursday session ,we have 12 at the moment in the Monday/Wednesday session and Id like 10 .thanks If you are happy please make the booking fee as I have some kids in the younger group missing out . 20.01.2022 Footy North atm still rolling along with one on one sessions ,very happy to have kids from all teams in West Perth District like Jacob and Riley from Wanneroo.Just finished 5 weeks with Jack as well.we are currently working with Noah and his sister Matilda and very pleased with their progress. The key is getting to the kids before they get bad habits. The key to Footy Norths success is having the knowledge on how to fix problems . Keep up the practicing kids when your at home .

18.01.2022 This week Footy North accepted the exciting opportunity to train the West Perth girls Academy. This is a fantastic opportunity for us to help improve the future quality of womens footy. Thankyou Dave and Rebecca for the opportunity.

15.01.2022 Hello to all the parents with kids in my program. I’d like to apologise to those that I forgot to explain the process in which I teach. More often than not your childs skills will go backwards before they get better. I have to break bad habits. I look at 14 different aspects of kicking, in order to get them kicking properly they need to learn most of them to be an elite kicker. I am aware it will take time and practise out of the time in which I have them and I don’t expect... them to know all of the steps. In saying that, I do have the basic steps as a priority . Tonight I saw some kids getting the ball to spin properly and everyone has a different area to concentrate on. I am very pleased with the progress we have made in just a short time. Please be aware that this program is not fitness based and allows all children to build their self belief and confidence.... The skills covered are as follows; Kicking Handball Marking Tackling Evasion Running technique to improve agility and speed The children in the advanced sessions will take their skills to another level with our unique drills. Venue Quinns Beach Primary School Lower oval Santa Barbara side Start date October 8th. Monday & Wednesday Ages 7 to 10. 8 kids 4 to 4.45 pm Monday & Wednesday Ages 11 to 18 10 kids 5.00 to 5:45 # This age group may include new kids and children who have previously completed 1x10 week program. Monday & Wednesday Ages 11 to 18 10 kids 6 to 645 pm #. This age group may include new older children or younger advanced kids who have previously completed at least 2 x 10 week programs and are suitably skilled to advance.This will be at my discretion. 09.01.2022 Did another morning session with Jaise this morning ,he has done 3 programs and is at the stage of practicing shots on goal and progressing onto his left foot ,his preferred foot stationary and on the run is spot on and he is only 9 .Awesome results Jaise

03.01.2022 Congratulations Byron Sherwood . The Footy North rising star is solely picked by myself . This player has to show an exceptional ability to want to improve .Byron has also shown that although he has received many awards to date ,these dont blind his desire to improve.I have watched him very closely this year and encouraged him to push himself ,and at times under some injury discomfort he never shyed away from the job at hand.He also showed a great understanding of the import...ance of bringing all his teammates into the game and this was on display when he preferred a short 45 degree kick or a quick handball to an outside player rather than bombing it forward.Now the long kick at times ,some might have thought wouldve been a better option, Byron understood a stuck to our plan ,for him to develope into a more complete player this was to be his focus this year and last year as well improving his 2way running. So in saying all that ,well done mate its been a pleasure to watch you grow as a player. See more

01.01.2022 Last year I did 5 weeks with the Quinns womens team and this year Im halfway through a 10 week block this year. I was sent this photo from one of the ladys and as you will see Jenny has developed a very strong and correct kicking technique ,all the patience with using my exercises and listening to the minor details in producing a sound technique have paid off. Great work Jenny who has just been asked to train with the WP womens team as well.
