23.01.2022 10 years seems like a long time... In 2006 I was in my last year of high school, spending Saturday mornings watching TV and seeing Beau Yates compete in Drift Australia. Back then it seemed to be an inconceivable concept that I would have built and competed in my own drift car. 16.01.2022 Hi-Tec Drift Australia Drift Allstars Round 4 at Winton Motor Raceway is all wrapped up.. We made an early road trip home this morning to give us some extra time to turn the car around for Round 5 next Sunday on South Circuit, Sydney Motorsport Park. Our results at Winton weren't the best but we are grateful to not have any major mechanical/cosmetic issues. We will attend to a few preventative maintenance jobs and look forward to next weekend! ... 09.01.2022 Unfortunately a quick check up on the dyno turned out to be more complicated than what we had hoped. Four years of E85 use has made the old ID1000's a bit lazy and delivered us duty cycle figures in excess of 115%. A huge thanks to Hypertune for the hook up with the new ID1750's! Thanks to all my friends for lending hands where ever they can, letting me borrow trailer, helping me find last minute parts, sandi...ng and painting in their spare time. Thanks to Matthew O'Grady for providing beers for the most part of last year, holding up workshop equipment and smoking darts. It would have been quiet and lonely without you.. Huge thanks to my fiancé Cait Rowe for keeping us fed and putting up with my drift addiction.
