10.01.2022 Huge thanks to everyone who popped in to the store today! Has been so nice getting to see everyone after a bit of a break! Most popular today was our Hydroponics range, and I completely understand why! They are my favorites too! Lots of queries around them today too, so I thought I'd share a bit of how to info with you all! ... Our Hydroponics really couldn't be easier! They are basically set and forget, because you can't over water, under water, or forget to water! Simply refresh the water and rinse the roots of once every 2 weeks. Yes, the plants grow happily and even thrive in just water, and will do for years to come! Photosynthesis is key, as t he plant absorbs most of its required nutrients directly from the sun! To aid in happy, healthy growth, we highly recommend adding a few drops of liquid plant food to the water, once a month, or every second water change. We even have the perfect plant food in store if you need some! Humidity isn't an issue with our Hydro range either, because with the water exposed at the top and with evaporation, humidity levels are generally pretty optimal for the foliage! Winner! Our Hydro range is perfect for newbies, because it takes a lot of the guesswork out of your plant care. In addition to having beautiful plant and watching it grow, you also can see the structure of the root system expand and thrive too! 09.01.2022 EXCITING NEWS! (Excuse ALL of the exclamation marks in this caption)... You guys!!! I have some huge, exciting news to share!! In the midst of the craziest year of our lives, I've gone and made it a little more crazy! *Drumroll please*... This blank canvas is the NEW @theforestcollection_ HQ!! Turns out, after two and a half years, we rapidly outgrew our garage and home studio! So, this weekend, we've been working tirelessly moving stock, building racking setting everything up and getting the place workable so we can operate for the week ahead. Mission accomplished! But fair to say, we are exhausted, but oh, so excited! Progress pics will follow - don't worry, I cannot wait to share it all with you! (I just forgot to take pics tonight). . . . . . For now, this is primarily our new workspace for production of all our online and wholesale orders. So essentially, business as usual. Eventually, we will have the 'showroom' space set up to able to invite you all into, but for now it will still be online only. Once we get all the details sorted, and the space decked out, you all will be the first to know. . . . . . . Lastly, I owe you all a HUGE, and heartfelt thank you. 07.01.2022 Peace lilies aren't only one of the easiest potted plants getting around, but they absolutely THRIVE as a Hydroponic option! One of the most common questions we get asked with our hydro plants is "how long will it survive in just water?" The answer is simple. Indefinitely! As long as it is cared for correctly, and fed often, your plant will thrive for years to come! ... I personally have 6 Hydroponic Plants in my own collection, one being the famously temperamental Fiddle Leaf Fig, which has thrived for around 4 years in water! In fact, it does better than it ever did in soil! They're also lower allergen than potted options, less fuss without complicated watering schedules, and even minimises the potential for pets!
