25.01.2022 And there is always that naughty one......who loves the mud! Whilst we only had 4mm of rain here at Forest Hills, it was so lovely to hear, smell and see it again. Were hoping a few others were more fortunate than us with bigger falls.

24.01.2022 .....And the last truck is finally loaded and leaving Forest Hills with our commercial cattle. Weve had a big couple weeks mustering and emptying out several paddocks as it continues to stay dry here. Unfortunately, it didnt end well....in the last week weve loaded over 40 decks of cattle and yet whilst loading the very last truck, I got my hand smashed against the steel rail and subsequently had to do some realigning myself in the yards while the kids watched in horror tr...ying to help (not ideal - I know......but well put that down to another lesson of home schooling ). Anyway, we finished loading the truck and went to Hospital and determined it wasnt good, so I was transferred to Rocky for surgery yesterday to put it all back together. I now have lovely sets of K-Wires, plates, plaster and back on light duties for the next eight weeks! Michaels bloody shitty commercial cattle!
