21.01.2022 Over the weekend our guinea pigs went home with one of our families. This gives the children the opportunity to care for a pet at home for a short period of time. Perfect for when you don’t have space for a large pet or to have animals long term. Each weekend the guinea pigs will go home with a different family. We can’t wait to see all the exciting places that the guinea pigs get to visit!

20.01.2022 Today we had a visit from the tooth fairy! She taught us how to correctly brush our teeth and what foods are healthy and what foods are sometimes foods. It’s never too early to begin teaching good oral hygiene to your children. Behaviours learnt when they’re young tend to stick with them throughout life. The need for this is increasingly important with tooth decay among children on the rise, with more than half of all 6 year olds having some decay in their baby and adult ...teeth, according to the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare. 19.01.2022 Last night we had a visit from Bec & Deb who are Educators at Brisbane Montessori School. They came to assist and educate our Centre 1 Educators on toileting procedures and gave us some tips to try. Both ladies brought a wealth of knowledge and our Educators asked a lot of questions and the ladies opinions on other related topics.

17.01.2022 Yesterday we all wore pink (or extra pink!) in support of the amazing work that the Breast Cancer Foundation do! The children engaged in pink themed activities and learnt about and coloured with different shades of pink pencils. Early detection saves lives.
