15.01.2022 . coronavirus , , FORMATIVE... FORMATIVE LEARNING WHO 2020 FORMATIVE LEARNING Parents and Students, Happy New Year and Happy Australia Day from FORMATIVE LEARNING. As the school term is now close, many parents have raised concerns about the coronavirus that is happening in China and how it will affect our classes. As there is only less than a handful of cases in Australia and the government has responded immediately, there is no need to be alarmed, so classes will resume as normal. However, as a precaution, we request that all parents, students and staff, who has recently returned from China, to impose a two weeks quarantine period. Formative Learning is happy to credit or adjusted the invoice for these lessons. Furthermore, we will be adopting hygiene practices recommended by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and encourage all students, parents and staff to wear face masks as a preventive. Lastly we would like help from parents to message Hurstville local schools, or any other suburb with a concentration of Chinese residents to enforce a two week quarantine on those who have recently returned from China and to follow WHO hygiene practices. Let us be alert but not alarmed when dealing with coronavirus and encourage each other to be responsible of their own health and the health of others. Regards Jenny and David Formative Learning 2020

Our classrooms are set up with both traditional white boards for talk and ‘chalk’ as well as the latest technologies and fast 5G internet. For those who are still learning remotely through zoom, we have professional HD conference camera and microphone.
