25.01.2022 Year 3/4 boys Round 9 Vs Rostrata/Riverton The Sunshine came out to play today and so did the boys from Forrestdale. the boys put on a show with their handpassing and ball movement through the middle, constantly looking for the quick hands and always pushing forward... All of the boys played out of their skin today, showing they have the skills to play a fast game. William Papps was on fire today starting strong in the middle, racking up the possessions and kicking 2 goals. Max was our Captain today and his lead from the front attitude saw him running hard and being in and around the contest all day. Sebastian and Bailey were upto their usual tricks of tackling hard and reading the play so well too always find themselves in the right position. This was one of our best performances for the year in terms of ball movement and the skills on show and just proves how far the boys have improved over the last few weeks. Hilton Brothers Glass & Aluminium awards Best player- William Papps & Max Woods Best Effort- Bailey Hilton & Sebastian Boekelman

Our Clubs success on the field cant happen without all our volunteers that help during the week and on the weekends to enable all our players put on the Mighty Falcons jumper and Saturdays win has put Forrestdale Falcons well and truly on the map. Also, how great was it to have our Auskick to have ...a game before our Reserves game and be the guard of honour for Cam Herons 100th game. Thank You Sarah for arranging this and everyone that helped setting up on the day. Our Ladies have now finished for the season ,but I hope they come down and support the League ,Reserves and Colts for the last 2 games and during the finals. Our last home game is the Ron Brown Memorial Game on the 29th and our AGM will be held after our awards are completed. It is very important that all positions from President to committee member are filled so all get down to be a part of the future of the Mighty Forrestdale Falcons.

23.01.2022 Auskick Game Day ! Today our Auskick teams hosted the Jandakot Jets in a fun little game to start off the Ron Brown Memorial round. ... 22.01.2022 ROSSMOYNE CARNIVAL Auskick Our kids today were AMAZING ! The Rossmoyne Carnival is the biggest event on our calendar this year , and all of our players were just brilliant ! ... Our PP teams showed great use of their skills and played their hearts out. Our Year 2 teams today had to get used to being on Interchange , as we had a limit on how many players could go on the field. They were brilliant in going on and off the field as needed, and listening to coaches for positions. Everyone should sleep well tonight , as they all played hard. Look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow at 12 for the WindUp.

22.01.2022 Congratulations to Lisa & Family ... the winners of our Fathers Day Raffle !!

18.01.2022 Just a fun video from today - our Year 2 boys took on Coach Paul in the tug of war while having a break in between matches

17.01.2022 Year 3/4 boys vs Piara waters We started strong today with a great first half of competitive football, the boys were right in the contest and playing well in cold and windy conditions. Jordan was again strong in the centre running and tackling hard. Sam and chayce switched roles for today with Chayce pushing up to centre half forward in the hopes of bagging afew goals and Sam having a run in defence at centre half back. Sebastian and Levi are really growing to be quality def...enders with their tackling pressure and ability to read the play so well amd always get into a good position to stop the flow of play against us. Our improvement is getting noticed everywhere we go with rival coaches commenting on how well we have progressed as a team and individual players really starting to get the attention they deserve We are gonna try and have a little fun at training this week to wrap up what has been a fantastic season Hilton Brother's Glass & Aluminium awards. Best on ground- Sam Padidar Best Effort - Jordan Cover & Chayce Makoare

17.01.2022 Round 8 Vs Piara Waters With only 12 available out of our 17 players we were up against it today vs ladder leaders Piara. The girls who took the field today all deserve a big congratulations!!!!... Not only did they play with great heart and determination but played the game in the right spirit for all of us to be proud of. They kept Piara to only a couple of goals a quarter and kept pushing the ball into our forward line on many occasions without much luck until a couple of great efforts from Tahlia who got the ball to Shania who kicked a great goal to get us on the board. The pressure the girls put on Piara meant they didnt have it their own way, led by Lilly Turner in the middle, as well as Shania and Taniqua, with great tackling and body work. Constance Deboer again showed some brilliant signs taking a couple of great marks and laying some big bumps. Tahlia is improving every game and attacked the ball well today and should be commended for coming back on after a nasty collision with blood flowing from the nose. Sienna and Maddison Thompson gave everything in the ruck and backline and did everything they could against bigger opponents. Jordan continues to get her hands on the ball along with Kayla always giving a contest up forward. The girls are becoming a real team and really look out for each other, its great to see. They all want to play and even when injured, just want to get out there and get back into it, even Hailee in a moon boot came up to me at half time and offered to rip it off and go out and play Isablle Kearney owes the team a pack of snakes at training Wednesday for forgetting her boots Thanks to Abbie Geneve for running today and I know how much you wanted to be out there as well. Congratulations to Connie for winning the Forry Towel award today. Great marks and running through the middle for long parts today. Congratulations to Sienna for winning Jonos one percenter award getting back to good form in the last couple of weeks. Thanks to the ladies in the canteen, and happy Fathers Day to all the dads!! Only two games left for the year. Thanks for all the help today everyone, and we always appreciate the great crowd we have at all games. See you all Wednesday at training 5 pm Bohdi Peita Cheers

16.01.2022 The AFL Grand Final will be shown at the Forrestdale Sporting Association , with the club opening at 3.30 , for those looking for somewhere to watch the big game on the big screen .

15.01.2022 Round 11 vs Winnacott Kats Our final game for the season was a hard fought battle with the boys takling and running hard at the ball all day. It seemed a tough day at the office for the umpire out in the middle aswell with a physical game being played by both sides and the free kicks flowing (just not always in our direction). The boys did really well to play to the whistle even when the call was against them, And pushed hard to get possession back... Levi again was strong in defence, often being the only man back and doing so well to keep the ball out of the goals. Jak had his best game of the season running off the half forward line and even having a cheeky way of picking up free kicks. Sam took charge of the ruck work around the ground often getting first touch on the ball and running all day. We all played so well together l, with some boys really starting to let their skills shine amd making some real progress Award winners- best player- Levi Jenkins Best effort- Sam Padidar & Jak Watt See you all at the clubhouse today for our end of season lunch and award presentation

15.01.2022 Way to go Falcons !

14.01.2022 AUSKICK Our little Auskick Falcons are just getting better and better each week. Theyre are picking up new skills , and improving ones they have learnt before. Well done tonight to our Coaches Choice Players , Lailah , Jayden and Alyssa. ... Come on down tomorrow from 10 to watch our littlest Falcons take on Jandakot Jets .

14.01.2022 Round 6 vs Melville (Green) The sunshine came out to play this morning and so did Forrestdale, it was a tightly contested game out there with both sides getting on the scorecard early. But there was something in the water at half time as Forrestdale came out running hard and pushing the ball forward right to the final siren. With Chayce(4), Rhyder(1) and William(1) getting amongst the goals today. We had great defensive pressure and tackling all day from the boys with Sebasti...an again getting in and getting the job done laying tackles everywhere he went. At training this week we will work on sticking to your player in defence and helping out/protecting your team mates around the ball Hilton Brothers Glass and Aluminium awards- Best on ground- Rhyder O'Neill Best effort- Sebastian Boekelman & Chayce Makoare **A big THANK YOU too everyone that helped out today As the saying goes- many hands make light work

14.01.2022 Make sure you have locked it into your calendars to come down to the FSA Christmas Party next Sunday the 13th! 13.01.2022 Come down and watch our youngest Falcons take on Piara Water in a fun little match this Saturday from 11.30am ! We will have all 3 teams playing , our Pre-Primaries , Year Ones and Year Two, as they put on the almighty red jumper and show us what skills they have been learning so far .

13.01.2022 AUSKICK FALCONS Yesterday saw our Auskick Falcons journey up the hill to Kalamunda , to play a mini carnival against Kalamunda and High Wycombe. They had a great time , playing different teams , and different positions throughout the 3 or 4 mini matches , and was a great experience for them. It was the first time we had our all girls team play together , and they were incredible! Our Year 2 boys showed us just how far their skills had come along , kicking amazing goals a...nd defending theirs, and our pre-primaries really got into the games and showed great sportsmanship between them all. Thanks so much to Kalamunda & Districts Junior Football Club for having us ! We had a great time.

13.01.2022 Does anyone recognise any of this lost property ?

13.01.2022 Year 4 Round 5Vs Rossmoyne Another wet one sees the boys playing in tough conditions again this week, but they worked hard below their knees, and did really well to keep the ball moving. we saw some fantastic tackling by Sebastian, Sam and Chayce with Max and Tristan also working together all day to keep the pressure on in the middle.... Jordan rucked well getting first touch on the ball several times throughout the day. Although we were caught standing still in the last quarter as rossmoyne kicked afew late goals it was a good performance all round in a wet and muddy game Hilton Brothers Glass and Aluminium awards: Best on ground, could not be split with Max & Tristan Woods both taking home the honour's ,both played a fantastic game and worked hard to encourage each other all day Best effort- Jordan Cover

12.01.2022 Year 7/8 Girls (coach Jason) All I can say is I’m so proud of all of you!!!!... We started so well in the first quarter and when we play our best footy we can easily match it with any side. They got the better of us in the end but we played the ball all day and that’s what will take us to the next level in years to come. The commitment they all have to want to play for each other is awesome, well done to Leah, Taniqua, Constance Deboer and Hailee for getting up to play today with injuries Abbie Geneve well done for playing on today after hurting your knee and giving everything you had. Charlie Western looked like you hadn’t missed any footy did so well today. Maddison Thompson Was awesome down Back saving lots of goals. After a nasty hit very proud of sienna for coming back on and had a good game. Lilly Turner and Shania are players that anyone would love in their team I won’t mention everyone but you all played a massive part this year and should be proud of yourselves I hope all the girls have had a enjoyable year, bloody nearly teared up when they wanted to sing the song today you just get so invested in the team as coach and want them to do so well. I’ll keep you posted on what happens with next week but with all our injuries it might be better to give it a miss if it happens at all. Congrats to Sienna and Shania playing so well today getting the Forry towels Congrats to Charlie for coming back so well and winning Jonos one percenter award.

12.01.2022 Our Auskickers have been given the honour of kicking off the last home game of the season , our Ron Brown Memorial round. They will be hosting Jandakot Jets Auskick from 10am. We hope to see you all down there

11.01.2022 Looking for a place to watch the AFL finals ? The club will be open , with food and cheap drinks !

11.01.2022 Many younger players watch AFL players and try to mirror what they do - which is great in some ways, however, doesnt necessarily mean the AFL players are corre...ct in doing so either. Goal kicking overall was 45% in the AFL and to me, professional footballs should be able to kick better. Yes, there are many areas that can cause this and duly noted, however, I feel their techniques are letting them down. Simplifying the kick and the process will help give you the accuracy and consistency. Great little video on goal kicking by Kicking Dynamics #simplify See more

11.01.2022 Well done Auskick Falcons today !! You all were amazing in your games . Big congratulations to Emily , Austin and Cooper for getting the coaches choice award today , you played brilliantly. If anyone has any videos / photos , please feel free to add them here or text them through

10.01.2022 We have a home and an away game today for the juniors : Both teams are coming off a win last week , lets see if they can make it two in a row. Our Year 4 boys will be off to Shelley Park to play against Rossmoyne at 10am... Our Year 7/8 girls are hosting Winnacott Kats at 10am at home. Good luck teams !!

10.01.2022 Our Junior WindUp was a great success yesterday , with our Auskick and Year 4 Falcons presented with their medallions, certificates and photos. The parent vs kid game was lots of fun, as always, with our Junior Falcons really showing off. From all of us at the FFC, we would love to say a huge Thankyou to everyone who helped with the Junior Season this year, from our coaches and registrars, managers to canteen. ... If anyone has any photos or videos they would like to share of the WindUp or season , we would love to see them. Our Youth Girls still have their Fairest & Best dinner to come, on the 10th of October.

10.01.2022 If your looking for something to do this Halloween, the FSA is having a Scary-Oke party ! They are also organising a community Trick Or Treat, that will start and end at the club and go around the neighbourhood (in a safe group). More details about that will be released closer to the date.

09.01.2022 Year 7/8 Girls Round 5 vs Winnacot Another wet cold day greeted us again today.... I have to say although its been bad weather the last couple of weeks the girls havnt let it affect them and they have played two great games of winter footy which is great to see!! The girls started quickly and put a couple of great goals on the board early through Hailee who was dominant up forward all day. The midfield was on top led by Abbie, Taniqua Leah and Lilly. The girls down back were under pressure in the second and third quarters but held up strong with Maddie, Sienna and Bree showing the way. Jordan got amongst the contest a lot playing a different roll today which was good to see. So good to the the girls looking after each other on the ground, the shepards and blocks they put on are awesome and dont go unnoticed. Koda laid some good shepards up forward allowing our girls some space and Paiten tried all day with second and third efforts. Connie did some magic things up forward today along with a bump that will be felt for a few days by the Winnacot player . We needed 3 goals in the last quarter to get the win but fell just short. The girls dominated 80 % of the game today but just couldnt get it through the big sticks ending up with 2 goals 15 points for the day, but thats footy sometimes Congrats to Tahlia who won Jonos 1 percenter award. Its only her third game ever and she is improving every week. Took a couple of great marks and loves getting in and under the packs. Congrats to Shania who won the Forry Towel award. She played a real captains game today. One of the best games Ive seen from Shania, consistently bumps and tackles putting her body on the line as well as bursting out of packs getting clearances and runs all day. Thanks to all the parents who help out during games each week its much appreciated. Thanks to John, Paul and Jamie for helping pack up today. We are lucky to have some of the senior womans team coming to training on Wednesday so see you all then.

09.01.2022 Dont forget that the FSA kitchen is open for meals after training Fridays

06.01.2022 Roast is on the menu for tomorrow night after training !

06.01.2022 Round 9 Warm day for footy greeted us at Henry Jeffery oval against East Freo. First quarter the girls were on fire, Abbie Geneve getting the ball down to our midfield and pushing the ball forward at every chance. Constance Deboer was magic up forward again showing her skill, danceing around EF and kicking 3 goals in the quarter to gain an early lead.... EF evened it up in the second quarter and our defence was under constant pressure, Shania, Isablle Kearney and Leah doing their best to hold firm down back along with Maddison Thompson stopping many goals on her own and Bree Hilton. Half time couldnt come quick enough and the girls regrouped in the sheds with a well earned rest. With the sun belting down EF kicked to a lead in the third but our girls never gave up and promised to bring it in the last to try to get over the line. Abbie and Shania were in beast mode the whole game along with the consistent Lilly Turner , Paiten and Taniqua under the packs. We had all the play in the last quarter but couldnt get the goals on the board eventually going down by 5 goals. I couldnt fault the girls efforts today, so proud of the for not giving up and pushing til the final siren. Congrats Kayla!! Jonos one percenter award went to Kayla, getting in the right position numerous times and doing what she could to get the ball foward. Congrats Jordan!! The Forry Towel award went to Jordan, she played a great game today never gave up and got plenty of the ball today, always wants to be out on the ground getting amongst it. Last game for the season this week at home against south Coogee. Hopefully all the injured girls can get back for this week, have some fun at training and I believe we can finish with a win and sing the song again.

05.01.2022 Year 3/4 Round 8 Vs East Fremantle (blue) The boys turned up today with fire in their bellie's and the point to prove, that we had improved since last time we met with East Fremantle. It was a physical game with the boys passion for a contest often overflowing. Most of the game was played in the centre with our work in the ruck and getting first use of the ball improving every week. Defensive pressure was again massive with Levi leading the charge from Fullback to restrict ea...st Fremantles scoring opportunities. There was some great match awareness by Sebastian dropping back and spoiling the ball and tackling hard as he always does. Owen was in and under all day getting the hard ball and coming away with afew shots on goal. A great effort by all although we were caught standing still a couple of times we were right in the contest right to the final siren This week at training we will work on sticking to your opposition and playing on quickly when we have a mark or free kick. Hilton brothers glass and aluminium awards Best player- Sebastian Boekelman Best effort- Levi Jenkins & Owen Harris

05.01.2022 Round 6 vs east freo red Apologies for the late post It was a tough game for the girls today both physically and mentally!!... I was so happy with the way they handled themselves with what was being produced by the opposition and it was very hard to restrain myself on the sidelines but we cant lower ourselves to that (as much as I would like to vent my frustration on the girls behalf). The girls were a bit flat to start the game but it was still close at the quarter break. The backline was being put under a lot of pressure and Bree continued her great season down back along with Jordan, who although preferring the forward line produced one of her best games in defence today. We continued to fight on in the second and third quarters, Abbie was doing her best in the middle and Shania fought on through soreness in defence to slow freo down. Lilly kicked a ripper from a tight angle to get the team going. Im pretty sure Taniqua kicked her goal off the left foot which is awesome to see. Tinka ran out the game well, and was unlucky not to get in the scoreboard and Taniqua showed great fight to return in the last quarter and not take a backward step. We finished the game well with some great center bounce clearances with Sienna showing she can win the taps, Hailee busting out of the contest and Connie kicking a couple of goals showing her skill. Although we werent at our best today I was so proud of how they never gave up and played with the spirit that they can be proud of. Congrats to Leah winning Jonos one percenter award. You have great potential and with a bit of hard work will get better and better, anythings possible!! Well done Congrats to Tinka winning the Forry Towel award today. One of your best for the season, great effort all day today, ran til the final siren and went hard in every contest. There will be some sore girls today so rest up, keep your heads up and be ready for training this week. When we play our best we can match it with anyone. No game this week and then the big home game against Piara!!
