16.01.2022 Fitzroy Learning Network, like the rest of our community, is facing uncertainty during these unprecedented times. We exist to offer Refugees, new migrants and Asylum Seekers; English classes, employment support, women in leadership courses, youth support, community awareness projects, counselling and referral services, creative classes, pre-accredited skills training, volunteer education and recruitment, as well as aiding new migrants experiencing homelessness. Every week we ...achieve this with the support of over 60 volunteers. Our aim is to support our community to become strong, sustainable and harmonious. In times like these, we commit to those aims with more determination, challenging ourselves to keep open minds and hearts. At present we are operating under the guidelines of the Department of Health, yet as we face the reality of a decrease in people power and potential closures, those we support, our services and staff may face increasing difficulty. More than ever we must come together as a united community to support each other. We are all feeling a little helpless right now, but there is a way you can help us. We wish to continue our 36 year history of community support, so if you have the means we are seeking donations via our Give Now page: ----> https://www.givenow.com.au/cause38 ----> https://www.givenow.com.au/cause38 ----> https://www.givenow.com.au/cause38 Please visit our website if you would like more information about our Services. ~ In times of fear, there is hope. In times of uncertainty, there is opportunity. In times of distrust, we must seek connection. ~ We hope that all of you stay in good health and continue to add to the strength and resilience of your communities.
