24.01.2022 A blind skateboarder from Japan has amazed the internet with his coordination and agility, as he does impressive tricks while navigating using his cane. This young man says in his previous videos, he does not use a cane, but due to his progressive illness, he has lost 95% of his vision. 17.01.2022 Brett from Camellia is loving his communication board made by our Service Quality team! We wanted to explore more options for Brett to communicate and express himself. The board is based on a questionnaire done by his key Active Support Workers exploring the things he loves most, including activities, food and where he likes to go. Our team developed his answers into a clip art images, laminated them and had one of our support workers record his voice for each item.
17.01.2022 The smile on this young boys face is contagious, as he experiences skating for the first time in his customised walker made by the Skate Anima Project in Brazil. The Skate Anima Project was created by a physiotherapist and psychologist, who are both skateboarders, and aims to showcase "skateboarding as evidence of human potential". 15.01.2022 Today we had the pleasure of meeting Rachel, founder of Dinner on the Table, who is also kindly donating meals to us! Dinner on the Table is a catering company with a causecatering delicious, wholesome meals while serving families living with disability by taking care of one daily task at home: putting dinner on the table. They have gifted 1901 meals to families living with disability since 2015 and that number continues to grow!... "Autistic people, just like everybody else, need connection, community and friends," a Sydney woman from the study shared. More than 130 autistic people and their families were surveyed about their experiences during the pandemic.

07.01.2022 From a poet to song writer, composer and music director, high school student, Tyler Hartfield, collaborated with his music class to tell his story about "the battle inside my brain" and his friendship with education assistant, Jayne Taylor. "The song is about how Jayne brings me into the light when I am feeling low and depressed," Tyler said. Tyler lives with cerebral palsy and is a non-verbal communicator.
