23.01.2022 It's lovely to be back in the school again cooking up delicious meals for all our kids. This week was a learning curve to say the least. With double the amount of breaks and less then half the preparation time, no volunteers or helpers we definetly need the weekend to put our feet up and take a breath. But it was lovely to see so much teacher appreciation this week. This is just one family's thoughtful gesture with gift certificates coming through online daily the teache...rs and staff are really feeling the love. 16.01.2022 --------------IMPORTANT NOTICE------------- Changes are coming to how we will be operating during recess/afternoon tea. As of week 8 (not next week the one after) Recess for 3-6 will be order only. No over the counter service. Afternoon tea/late recess for k-2 will be order only aswell. No over the counter service. You will be able to order online or at the canteen before 9am each day. The only frozen items available for these breaks will be snapstix and slush puppies. Th...is is to enable the children to finish their frozen treats before returning to class. As they will recieve them at the very start of the break along with any other food they have ordered. This is a joint decision between the school and the canteen as we are now serving 5 breaks a day plus staff lunches. Currently when the 3-6 recess break ends we already have K-2 arriving for their lunch orders, creating delays and confusion. We are excited to have this system implemented and know that it may take some time to get used to but it will be a benefit to us all. With no more waiting in line and having the food you want sell out before you get served. Simply put in your order before school. The teacher will send a student to collect the baskets before recess just like they do at lunch. So you get exactly what you wanted with so much more time to eat and play! Our online menu will be updated soon to rectify any concerns regarding what you can and can't order during these breaks. Thank you to all our families again for your continued support, and thank you for making such cute kids to keep us entertained everyday.

02.01.2022 The Department of Education has continued to work with NSW Health to revise the current advice to schools. NSW Health has agreed for parents and carers to be ab...le to enter school grounds with COVID-safe practices still in place. The same exit gates will still be used in the afternoons with Years K to 2 and siblings going through Hadley St and Years 3-6 through the back gate. Gates will open when the bell rings in the afternoon. Please remember to socially distance both within the school and on the outside of the school gates. In mornings, please do not linger after students go to class (preferably parents/carers would leave once your child has put their bag down and gone to play, no teacher announcements will occur at morning assemblies). We acknowledge the difficulties that Covid 19 has had on our community and we thank you for your ongoing support while we continue to work together to keep everyone safe.

02.01.2022 From May 11th we will be back everyday to cater to your children's needs! We will be operating under a smaller menu until all children are back at school regularly. We are coming back without helpers or volunteers and with more then double the amount of serving periods now in place. Fruit break must be purchased before school, throughout recess and lunch or on an order as we will not be able to serve during class times as this is our cooking and preperation time. ... At this stage we won't be serving hot food over the counter during breaks, instead everything must be ordered before school. Order shut off time will now be 9am for all orders. So much has changed but we are eager to get back into it all and work with the new times and lunches. Wish us luck
