09.01.2022 Usually, any turtles we see dive and disappear quickly, but this green sea turtle (Chelonia mydas) popped back up for a second look at us. Found worldwide, and ...unusually for similar sea turtles, adults are completely herbivorous - feeding on the seagrass found in and around Wallis Lake and similar lagoons. Classified as Endangered due to loss of nesting and feeding habitat through human developments as well as being caught in fishing nets. This rare, fantastic image captured on the cruise today by Cameron Galle Photography See more

08.01.2022 The story of Heart to Hearts beginnings starts with this dynamic women, Kylie Honor. I had lost my beautiful daughter Shannon in 2006, my life was shattered........ I shut down from the world. This friend saw that I needed purpose and so proposed I create a program for youths ‘at risk’ using my skills and knowledge of art. Kylie was a Social Worker and knew the struggles of young people. Kylie was instrumental in launching Heart to Heart in our local Schools and help build the structure of our program. This week we lost our beautiful Kylie after a long battle with cancer. The world has lost a bright shining star. I have lost the dearest friend. Kylies legacy will forever live on through Heart to Heart and through all the children whose lives will be changed by the Heart to Heart program . See more
