11.01.2022 My Latest Blog The Ten Things My Horse Has Taught Me During Covet 19 This is a crazy time we are living in, it still seems so surreal, like living in a fog, a dream or some sci-fi movie but it is real! We are virtually living our lives day to day as if someone has pressed the pause button on our global remote control. None of us know the outcome, none of us know how long this is going to last or what it will be like on the flip side! ... I remember watching this all unfold in China and feeling remotely unattached to the situation, call it naivety but there was no way in my mind that I thought in time that I would be caught up in this reality of a Global Pandemic. I think that I am still in shock, about how our world has changed so suddenly and how our day to day lives are so different from what we know and love and what seems like we truly look for granted. It has been in these personal moments of reflection and I am sure that in some way, we are all doing this for ourselves right now, that I am trying to gain the lessons here. Could this be our Global Awakening? Is the earth trying to teach us something, do we all need to make personal changes, to live a better life, a simpler life, who knows but as the days unfold I am sure it will mean something different to all of us? It was while I was recently sitting with my horse on a sunny afternoon, watching her graze, enjoying her company and thinking how simple life can be when I had the thought " what can I learn from you right now?" What can I take from this majestic creature that we call the horse that could have any kind of impact on me in the here and now? These are the things that came to mind as I thought back over my lifetime with horses.
