21.01.2022 Narrabri gasfield gets go-ahead By Eve Sinton, Fossil Fool Bulletin, 30/09/2020 Photo: Gwilym Summers In a move bitterly disappointing to thousands of people who have opposed the Santos Narrabri gasfield, New South Wales Independent Planning Commission (IPC) has given the project a tick of approval....Continue reading
15.01.2022 Check out this one on one interview with Sandra Steingraber speaking about some the highlights within the new Compendium of Scientific, Medical, and Media Findi...ngs Demonstrating Risks and Harms of Fracking (Unconventional Gas and Oil Extraction) Seventh Edition, December 14, 2020 I found the radioactivity information very informative, and I really enjoyed listening to the economics portion of this piece which is VERY encouraging. Basicly speaking it’s not profitable! It’s definitely worth the listen. To view the Compendium itself you can view it here: https://concernedhealthny.org/compendium/ https://radiokingston.org//sandra-steingraber-the-harms-of

13.01.2022 Go to Rio Tinto's Facebook site and tell them what you think: Eve Sinton It may have been legal to blow up a 46,000 year old Aboriginal site but it is immoral and greedy beyond comprehension. You blew up any tenuous 'social licence' you ever had. Choke on your profits, you disgusting, evil company. Your industrial activities are leading us to the destruction of life on earth as we know it. There must be a special place in Hell for the people who signed off on this.

04.01.2022 While sitting here on hold to Telstra (now 55 minutes and counting) I have to say how glad I am that Fossil Fool Bulletin now has a splendid new 16" laptop. This is thanks to some lovely donations, especially from two loops of the Knitting Nannas, Scott Morrison's $750 Covid stimulus (bet he'd vomit if he read this) and my own scrimping and saving plus managing to get some interest-free credit. We made it over the line! Setting it up has been slow because of a fault in my ADS...L connection, hence the long and frustrating Telstra call. But the 16-inch-Angel is loaded up with InDesign and Office 365, ready to take on the fossil fools. OMG it's the most fab laptop ever, and if ever you used InDesign, you'd know 16 inches sure beats the old 13 inch work-space. PS it had to be a laptop as a 25-year-old spinal injury means I can only work long hours in an armchair, feet up, arms supported. I can't sit at a desk and use a keyboard for more than 15 minutes without experiencing pain. So, it's a laptop or nothing. This is the best ever! See more
