18.01.2022 Update on the Fosterville Gold Tennis Centre - Cafe As of tomorrow morning (Thursday) we will be welcoming all customers back to our venue for sit down dining. Inside dining is substantially reduced but we are extremely lucky to not only have the space, but also the best view in town! We will be opening the Cafe from 8.00am - 1.00pm Monday - Saturday and closing on Sunday for a short break. ... We can not wait to welcome back all the amazing customers that make coming to work so fun!

17.01.2022 Update on tennis at the Fosterville Gold Tennis Centre. Following the easing of restrictions a number of changes have been made: - More courts will be available to hire... - Singles and Doubles play can now return - Group coaching with up to 10 participants We ask that all players still adhere to and follow the rules already in place: - Wear a mask to and from the court - Sanitise upon entry - Remain socially distant at all times - Only enter the facility if you are a player - Book through the Book a court system The BTA will have more information regarding the commencement of competitions and pennant available very soon. In the meantime, dust off those racquets and let's hope for a nice weekend!

06.01.2022 TOURNAMENTS ARE BACK - NEXT TUESDAY 29 SEPTEMBER AT THE FOSTERVILLE GOLD TENNIS CENTRE. The Victoria UTR Series, a new and exciting opportunity for competitive match play is coming to Bendigo, beginning the first weekend of September school holidays. The Series will utilise the Universal Tennis Rating (UTR), a rating system that allows skill level based competition, is used by the professionals and encourages fair play. UTR rates every tennis player - regardless of age, gende...r, or nationality. With Australian Ranking Tournaments on hold as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, players in regional areas are keen to return to the courts to compete. Players will go head to head in a round robin draw, using the UTR ‘Fast4’ scoring format where players will adhere to playing: First to 4 games Play lets No ad scoring Tiebreaker at 3 games all Each venue will strictly follow Victorian Government and Tennis Victoria Community Tennis Guidelines, where physical distancing, stringent hygiene and safety precautions will be in place. Entries for all events will be on a first in, first serve basis, and are available online through the Tennis Victoria Club Page on the UTR Website. Link is in the comments.
