06.01.2022 Let’s take this time to help each other! We have secured a small batch of locally made 80% alcohol hand sanitiser available in the next week. We are donating half of our stock to support our front line hospital staff (see my story below and how you can contribute). We are making the remaining stock available to our customers at cost for $14.50 (100ml). We believe we should help each other as best we can in a time like this. We will limit 1 per customer but if you know of a f...amily/friend in need, please let us know. Pick up only at store. My story: I was told my friend’s family member was in need of hand sanitiser. She’s a ER nurse who’s just been told she may be going into the Covid-19 ICU ward. Like all of us, having a bottle of hand sanitiser in your car/hand bag is essential. Especially when you are heading home after working in the ICU. I can only imagine how many other health care workers are finding it hard to get hand sanitiser. So when the opportunity came up to secure some, my priority is to send them to my friend’s family member so she can also distribute to their colleagues in hospital. I also want the remaining bottles to be available to my customers and community at an affordable price. Hence, it is sold at cost. But if you would like to contribute and support our hospital staff, you can help us sponsor a bottle. 06.01.2022 With our extra time, thought I’d share the most enjoyable way to exercise and catch up with friends. Since social isolation I have really enjoyed my daily walk chatting with my friends in 2 other states. We set up a time each day and hop onto a conference call...it’s so enjoyable getting fresh air and a good chat that we often forget about the exercise part and just walk & chat. Whether we are walking in our quiet suburban streets, going in circles in our backyard or walking around the house, it really makes you want to get off the couch and turn off the TV. Let’s see how many more groups of friends we can get together.
