02.01.2022 With all that's been happening, we have missed our club's spotlight. Time to shine the light on another fantastic QLD club, arguably one of the best Jeep clubs in the state. South East Queensland’s premier Jeep Club dedicated to the passion of Jeeps! More than a car, it is a lifestyle. To our core we are Jeepers, this is what we love it is our passion, our soul and we are a family. A club that welcomes families and nurtures lifetime friendships. We enjoy and respect the outdoors and encourage others in the community to do the same. Whether it is wheeling in your Jeep, camping with lifelong friends or wrenching with mates, being part of JeepFreakz QLD is a journey you will never forget. 4WD NSW & ACT 4wdhttps://www.facebook.com/JeepFreakzQLD

01.01.2022 4WD NSW & ACT took part in an inspection of Worimi Conservation Lands (Stockton Beach), seeing firsthand the effects of the weather event that took place in late March. We were shown how affected areas are being monitored and how these areas are recovering. Large amounts of water is still laying in the swales, some of which are in high traffic areas. Cultural sites have been exposed including under the lying water. In a few spots the water laying in the swales has broken thr...ough to the ocean and created trenches across the beach front. Natural action has reduced the size of the drop offs but they are still large enough to represent a considerable hazard. North of Lavis Lane there are several pinch points, that would make the beach impassable at high tide or large swell. 4WD NSW & ACT will continue to work with the Land Managers as they monitor conditions.
