23.01.2022 What a few weeks! Thank you to everyone who trusted their friends and online reviews enough to book a first-time stay these holidays. Thank you to the loyal families we see time and time again.... Thank you for the kind words, respect shown for the property, and feedback provided to support our continued success. Let's do it all again in 10 week's time p.s. Always love to see any pics

22.01.2022 A visit next weekend could provide a fabulous opportunity to combine retail therapy with nature therapy. The main street of Stanthorpe closes to traffic, with Christmas shopping and entertainment for young and old Then just a 15min drive back to your campsite for ... Happy to chat via phone, email or social media

20.01.2022 Let's talk Day Visits. As the weather warms up, the lakes and dams on our property may look tempting to come and enjoy for the day While many other options, such as Girraween, Storm King Dam, Leslie Dam etc are on public property, our campground is all private property and part of a busy vegetable farm.... It took 18 months to navigate council permission to operate our campground, and would be further red tape to allow a day visitors permit. At this stage we are not interested in going down that road. So ultimately the answer to day visitors is 'No'. This is an awkward but necessary answer to give if people just show up. It allows paying campers to feel safer and more secure about themselves and their belongings. It means the amenities, facilities and trails do not get overcrowded. It means we don't open ourselves up for litigation if injuries occur to non-campers. Thank you again for your support. Tracey

20.01.2022 Happy Fri-yay Things are still ticking along nicely here as we gear up for Summer holidays. Dams are high, grass is green, bookings coming in. While we keep an eye of what others in the camping and caravanning industry are doing, most of the decisions we make are surprising to guests new to our place.... * No surcharge for up to 3 children 10 years and under * A single traveller discount of $8/night off the site price * Free laundry, showers and kayaks * No minimum night stay except on Easter weekend (and 3 nights, rather than 4) * No peak period price rises * Personally shown to your site * Affordable firewood delivered to your site One of the best reviews we've received mentioned feeling like more than just a number. We are so honoured to provide a destination where friends and families can just recharge and make memories in beautiful, natural and relaxed surrounds. Almost two years open now, the word is still getting out that we exist. We more than exist, we are flourishing and loving it Still learning and developing to keep this momentum up. Hope to see many of you book a Summer/Autumn Granite Belt stay!

19.01.2022 A beautiful day in paradise

19.01.2022 The BOM got it right today. 45mm in an hour. That will get the creek flowing again. Brendon and I found a few sites that will need attention to make camper safe during heavy rain events.

18.01.2022 What a write-up! Thanks so much, I actually teared up And how about these pictures

14.01.2022 18 months in the making, now two years since Harslett Farm also became Foxbar Falls Campground. Thank you to our visitors who came and supported our venture. We love when you see and enjoy the unique landscape and experiences we offer here. Thank you to our staff, especially Brendon, who also work hard and happily to provide guests with a warm and welcoming experience.... We've actually had crazy winds but little rain this week. As the winds die down we hope that the cancellations do too. The cake is now happening tomorrow for a few reasons, but in the meantime, check out this short clip compiled in March this year. Stay safe everyone (and book a stay here )

11.01.2022 This is Tracey. She has a day job, so normally just replies to emails and Facebook messages as her contribution. Today Tracey checked in 20 campsites, delivered firewood, emptied bins, managed the phone and assisted guests with their every need. Tracey has a new appreciation for the regular manager, Brendon Happy Spring (is it bedtime yet)!

10.01.2022 Just letting you know our internet has been down all of today and some of yesterday. We're not ignoring you, and connecting with our phone data when we can! Calling or texting 0477369227 might be best for now

10.01.2022 Things are heating up Escape the humidity and balmy nights in just 2.5 hours from Brisbane. Minimums in the early or mid teens, maximums maybe getting to 30 degrees.... It's not too late to even get powered sites over the school holidays (and of course before). Get those friends that can't make a decision to book in with you!

10.01.2022 Book a stay including December 15th and get a free box of firewood and share in some cake to celebrate! Plenty of prime powered and unpowered sites available (pet free or pet friendly), but they will disappear, I'm sure

09.01.2022 Stanthorpe number 1!

08.01.2022 The calm before the storms????

07.01.2022 *** Now includes a bottle of Waagee from Ravenscroft Wines (www.ravenscroftwines.com.au) valued at $60. Our closest winery, and favourite wines to keep at home. Thanks for coming on board, Mark Your Easter camping trip is saved! As the popularity of camping and caravanning sky-rockets, have you been caught by surprise with the lack of Easter availability already?... A few months ago, we blocked out one of our best campsites from 1st - 5th April to run a silent auction fundraiser. Rock View 16 is a powered site suitable for tents or camper trailers, up to an 18ft caravan, in our NO PETS area. This stay is valued at $120+. We are located on the beautiful Granite Belt in southern Queensland, approximately 2.5 - 3 hours from Brisbane/Gold Coast. The Foxbar Falls team commits to donating 100% of the pledged amount to LifeFlight Australia (www.lifeflight.org.au), a service vital for residents of rural and regional Queensland. LifeFlight To participate, email your silent bid to [email protected]. Bidding closes 12pm Friday 22nd January. We'll throw in a daily box of firewood if price reaches $200 If you can't stay with us this time, please share this information so we can hopefully help someone get a coveted Easter spot, and support a worthwhile cause at the same time. Please note: One vehicle or set up on the site. Maximum of 6 guests per site. The winning bidder will need to forward the bid amount to Foxbar Falls within 3 business days of auction closing. Foxbar Falls will forward the donation in the winner's name.

06.01.2022 Putting the 'Falls' into Foxbar Falls for the capacity crowd here for the long weekend! Still hopeful for genuine overflow this Spring

05.01.2022 Testing the runway before a jolly someone's arrival later tonight This space is typically used as a bike track, cricket pitch, footy field, you name it. But we safely cleared all guests before coming in to land. We do things a little differently around here....

02.01.2022 "What you see is what you get" While we don't update the website so often, our social media always reflects the current conditions here on the property. Neither you or we want to get a rude shock on arrival! The dams are hanging in there while we wait for evidence of La Nina to appear, and the water has reached swimming temperature for more than just the hard core (aka Tim and Tracey, the sooks) ... Today's photos are a beautiful double rainbow that appeared for our guests recently (thank Robert Webber ), plus a flashback to April last year and an empty Lake Amiens, for our followers who have only seen it high. There is beauty here in all circumstances if you look carefully enough Believe it or not, also take this as a nudge to finalise your Easter plans, with us or elsewhere, because camping and caravanning levels are unprecedented and we're almost full already!

02.01.2022 More pet friendly than ever! The team here @foxbarfalls have reflected on feedback and demand and made changes to our pet policy. While guests with multiple or larger dogs are still requested to camp along the edge of Lake Edith, we've extended the options for those travelling with a single smaller animal. Now choose from any site outside of the Rock View area, and have your furry friend right there with you.... This applies all year round!
