Sadly we were only able to open for a week (just enough time to test the new beer taps out of course), before COVID19 hit and forced us to shut our doors temporarily. ... The hotel has undergone numerous physical changes over the past century and no longer resembles the original coffee palace of the 1880s. Some stay whilst they need to get to essential hospital appointments, others in between homes, some needing to work from the hotel rooms to ensure they kept up safe social distancing practices.
