23.01.2022 CALF RARER POSITIONS Seeking 2 applicants for a calf rearing position at Merton. Splits shifts starting at 8am & 1pm The split AM shift is 3-4 hrs & pm 4hrs a...pprox., 5 days a week including 1 day over a weekend. Rate negotiable with suitable applicant. Applicant must have can attitude and be physically fit as this is a physical job. Day to Day jobs include but not limited to; Teaching calves to drink from feeders. Deliver grain and hay to calves. Identify any animal health issues. Operation of Quad Bike & large feeder. Some tractor work required. Fox Dairies is a family business that started farming in 1990 and is a major supplier of the fresh milk market supplying enough milk for 90000 consumers per day. In addition to milk production, premium lean meat is produced for international and local markets. To enable this production, we have a business activity that grows and coordinates the delivery of 18000 tonnes of feed per annum. The business switched to dairy in 2010 and has since quadrupled in size, increasing from 1 farm to 3 irrigated dairy farms plus another farm for growing out the replacement young stock.
