21.01.2022 PODIUM RESULT Great way to start the season for the team with Matt Geering picking up a 3rd place at the opening Race of the Season on the weekend. Originally t...he race meeting was going to be run as an old school format with 2 heats and a final, however with threatening skies above and the potential of loosing the meeting they would have to scrap the format. Matt started 7th in his first heat and knowing the top 6 from the 4 heats automatically transferred to the A Main he set off to secure a spot. He did more than that racing to a 3rd place finish. Luke would come out of five in his heat and was looking good early in the heat running within the transfer spot. Unfortunately he ran wide in turn 3 late in the race losing a number of positions and would come home in 9th place. The 30 lap Main event had Matt starting out of P7 and he was and was in a great battle with Daniel Sayre and Alex Orr. Late in the the race Matt got caught up with another car causing him to loose brake pressure after a brake line had split from the contact. He would race on and finish on the podium in 3rd place which was a thoroughly deserving event. Congratulations to Dan and Alex for finishing 1st and 2nd. With the early finish to the night some of the teams where able to take to the track for Hot Laps,Luke jumped at the opportunity to get back in the CoolDrive Auto Parts 97 Machine setting some very impressive lap times. 10.01.2022 LUKE SETTLES IN NICELY Luke Geering made his 410 Sprintcar debut on Saturday night driving the teams CoolDrive Auto Parts #97. His first race meeting was the De...v Sprintcars, Wingless, Legend Cars & Lightning Sprints at Valvoline Raceway Luke has been waiting for this day probably since the first time he had turned laps all those short years ago in his Benson Speedway Kart. Leading up to this event Craig Geering and his team had worked tirelessly on getting the Truck and car ready for his first show. Luke was a little nervous prior to unleashing the 900 Hp under his right foot, but he settled in well and ran smooth lines all night, which is excactly what the team had hoped for. Luke made up positions in every heat race and managed to race his way from 17th in the A Main to Position 8. Older brother and team mate Matt Geering was there to give his younger sibling some advice and support. Thanks to everone who came along and supported Luke on his first night. Luke's next race is along side Matt this weekend at Valvoline Raceway.
