23.01.2022 Welcome to Fox Solutions Dog Training! I'm Nicole, and this is my trusty sidekick Reya. Reya is a 2 year old working line German Shepherd, she came all the way down from Queensland when she was a puppy. I completed my certificate III in Dog Behaviour and Training back in 2013. Since then I've attended numerous workshops and seminars to further my knowledge. I'm always eager to work with owners and their dogs, whether they've got a fresh new puppy and want to start off on the right page, or they may of adopted an older dog that needs help with behavioural issues or learning some manners to become the perfect family companion. You may even have a dog who's already well behaved but you want to take that next step further! I look forward to helping you and your dog in the future!

20.01.2022 Reya and I practicing our heeling. This wasn't a planned session, we were simply down at the park having fun and I decided to throw in some heeling for fun. You can see how much Reya is enjoying herself, she is doing it because she WANTS to do it, not because she feels forced to.

16.01.2022 A little bit of fun on the weekend. Incorporating novel distractions into our heel work. Once you create a strong foundation of a skill, and the dog understands what is expected of them you can then start to get creative with your training! Note- please be careful with sparklers around your dogs, they can harm them if they grab them. We do not own the music in this video.

16.01.2022 Starmark Bob a Lot: There are many different kind of treat feeders around these days. They a great way to provide mental stimulation to your dogs well as using their natural instincts (sniffing, "hunting" and chasing). I personally find the Starmark Bob A Lot to be fantastic as it's made of a tough plastic, the difficulty can be adjusted and you can use either dry food or dried treats (such as broken up liver, jerky, etc). What do you give your dogs to keep them mentally stimulated?

09.01.2022 Working on our long drop. It's important to have a dog that can hold position regardless of what distance you are at and regardless of what distractions are present. Out of shot there are kids playing with footballs and soccer balls on the oval (Reya LOVES balls) and also a child on rollerblades.
