08.01.2022 What a wonderful quirky town #murrurundi is, the people are gorgeous and love to show of their town. So many beautiful boutique shops, lovely parks, pubs, c...afes, art galleries and more. Today I visited: Michael Reid at Murrurundi art gallery with exquisite, prestigious wares and cafe within beautiful surroundings. It was like a little hidden oasis. Fox's Store Murrurundi full of fascinating collections, a medical museum which takes a donation only, and an American style milk bar. Ray the owner was a world of knowledge. I'll definitely be back to see him with my kids. Stone & Co Vintage Interiors absolutely divine little gifts, quirky home wares, home made soaps, clothing, furniture. I picked up a lovely little pink tye dye outfit for Zoey. Had lunch at the White Hart Hotel Murrurundi a wonderfully huge open family friendly pub with a huge outside area for the kids to run around. Backs onto the Pages River which was flowing ever so nicely. Such a hot day today that I dipped my toes in. Oh and the good was incredible, only $12 for a huge chicken ceaser wrap and chips. Had a tour of the beautiful Murrurundi Caravan Park by the Manager Chris. Very nice grassy sites, a collection of hats hanging from the ceiling from past guests. Lovley garden for a BBQ with the back drop of the dramatic mountains. Sunsets are spectacular here, Chris showed me some photos. Happy hour every night at 4pm were you bring a drink and have a yarn with the owners. Great deal stay 3 only pay 2. We drove up around Paradise Park where the start of the hour trek The eye of the needle is. Again hike saved for another day So many other places to check out in Murrurundi. We just ran out of time.
