25.01.2022 Details of the federal governments stimulus package in response to COVID-19 was released yesterday. The package includes $750 cash payments to social security, veterans and other income support recipients and eligible concession card holders. There are also measures for small business, which may be relevant for many of our business clients. The business measures include: - Cashflow boost for small business employers of between $2,000 and $25,000 based on amount of tax wi...thheld from employees wages -Increase in immediate asset write off allowance from $30,000 to $150,000 from 12th March 2020 up to 30th June 2020. - a wage subsidy of 50 per cent of an apprentices or trainees wage from 1 January to 30 September 2020, capped at $7000 each quarter per each eligible apprentice or trainee. Please submit your BAS documents to our office at least two weeks prior to the due date so any queries can be chased up and lodgement can be made within the correct time period. If we do not lodge on time, the ATO may apply late lodgement penalties.

11.01.2022 We are delighted to announce the safe arrival of Isla Mae Reynolds; first daughter for Mick and Kylie Reynolds (Admin Manager). Both are doing well and we are looking forward to meeting her. We have also recently welcomed Kate Sullivan (Accountant) back from maternity leave. Kate's normal work dates will be Tuesday and Wednesday at this stage. Sonia Green also celebrated a birthday this week.

05.01.2022 IMPORTANT CHANGES FOR FAMILIES ACCESSING CHILD CARE SERVICES: On 2 July 2018, the Child Care Subsidy and Additional Child Care Subsidy will replace the current child care fee assistance payments. Child Care Subsidy will be paid directly to your approved child care provider/s to reduce the fees you pay. Families need to complete a Child Care Subsidy assessment or claim before 2 July 2018 to ensure you dont miss out on child care fee assistance from 2 July 2018.
