Just waiting on the new tanks then refitting. The Grand Banks 46 will look and feel a million bucks after!

10.01.2022 9 April 2020 update from the BIA The Boating Industry Association (BIA) has continued to work and advocate for its members in the boating industry and the boating lifestyle throughout the fire/flood/pandemic of the past months. Whilst each State and Territory is approaching the COVID-19 restrictions in its own way, BIA continues to press for the boating cause and for clarity. ... NSW has just provided an update. Whilst the message to ‘Stay at Home and only go out if essential’ remains in place, Transport for NSW has updated its information for boating to show what activity is permitted and not permitted under the restrictions. Included is information on boat ramps being open or not. Significantly, there is advice that access to your vessel or mooring to maintain or service it, is permitted under the social distancing restrictions. This is considered undertaking legal obligations or obtaining goods or services. Details at https://tinyurl.com/tebd2oy The information below is from the above link Frequently Asked Questions If I have a ‘reasonable excuse’ to leave home, what water-based activities are still permitted? The table below addresses the status of common water-based activities under the current Public Health Orders. Social distancing and social gathering rules are to be observed at all times during any of the below activities. The latest information on social distancing and social gathering rules are available on the NSW Government website. When on a private boat, because it is not a public place, the restriction on gatherings of more than 2 people does not apply. However, the skipper is to ensure there is 4 square metres of space for each person on board. If there is not 4 square metres of space per person, the skipper will not be complying with the Public Health Order. If you are satisfied you meet all the criteria, please still only boat locally. Please view the spreadsheet below Are boat ramps still open? All boat ramps in NSW are managed by local councils, the National Parks and Wildlife Service or WaterNSW with the exception of four ramps managed by Transport for NSW at Carrington, North Stockton, South Stockton and Port Kembla Contact your local council for more information about specific boat ramps There are no current plans to close the ramps managed by Transport for NSW. What if I see a breach of restrictions on the water? NSW Police is the relevant enforcement authority for the Public Health Order and will use discretion to assess whether community members have a ‘reasonable excuse’ to be out on the water, and whether there have been any breaches To report a breach contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a report via their website. Hope this information helps. Happy Easter and please stay safe.
