25.01.2022 I decided to go and hang out with my mate today. I forget how pretty she is. Here's us both putting on our best at @adarlingaffair, many moons ago. This pic has inspired me to maybe change up my usual outfit of fisherman pants and sneakers and maybe get my Friday-Frock-on. Happy weekend to yas!

21.01.2022 Our couples are truly the BEST! Love ya and a massive thank you for your kind words Jess I cannot speak highly enough of Alicia and her husband and of course beautiful old Mavis. Guests at our wedding had so much fun with Mavis and she looked awesome in our wedding pics. It was something really different to the norm which guests appreciated. Alicia was so easy to deal with, was so lovely and even helped us by getting some glue sticks for the guest book when our sticky tape ...gun ran out. Alicia looks out for you every step of the way with making sure everything is ready to go. Mavis was set up ready for our ceremony on time and was packed up at the end of the night. 20.01.2022 Happy Earth Day Earthlings In our job we are super lucky that we get to travel to and marvel at some incredibly beautiful lil spots in our great big planet. Because travelling is a big part, we try our best to tread lightly with our business and reduce our impact where we can. Some lil practices we have put into place along the way to achieve this...... Mavis' set up is not a one use and throw away model. I meticulously pick items to last (some being repurposed) and look the hell after them. I have a catalogue of items that I play with to keep the look fresh. Any props that have seen the light of day are passed onto my children and their friends for dress up play. The beer goggles obviously goes to parents We pack our own snacks and caffeine. Sooooo many snacks. We stay local and eat local when it's an overnight. We're not perfect but we are trying to do what we can. If you are on the road a lot, please let us know if you have found some great ways to tread lightly to pass onto us!! @juddric

18.01.2022 Hey guys just a lil love note to say we miss you all! We can't wait to be on the road again, heading to your beautiful weddings and raucous parties. I know it's a stressful waiting game for a lot of our couples and we feel for you. Stress aside, we hope you are making the most of these slower paced times. I've dusted out the old teacher hat and am spending most of my time with the F & M minis, trying to be creative and to not unleash the nazi teacher title that I have been gi...ven by some. For majority of the time, we are loving it. My gardening, constructing things out of cardboard, baking, drinking and eating skills have improved out of sight. Home hair cuts and taxation paper train skills still need some attention. Would love to hear what skills you have attained over this pandemic period! It was hard not to be floating on cloud nine, especially when you have brides who are as wonderful and easy going as Hannah & Ellen. See how we celebrated and incorporated the 70s, vintage anything and everything and of course, disco balls at our own wedding! #Mavissundaetreat @samantha.jane.photography Side notes: My wedding dress was my mum's. It was magic to wear. How much of a rockstar my mum is (and was) to have designed a dress like that. We got a dear family friend to make Penny's dress, using material from my mother in law's weddin...g dress. It was important to us to have as much of our loved ones represented and included throughout the day, in as many ways as possible. My dad took it upon himself to organise a surprise for us.. He jazzed up the farm ute into a dream wedding car. A great moment was driving away in it with Joe and the kids, hysterically laughing as we tried really hard not to stall it infront of everyone. Locations: Family property and the Canungra Hall.
