16.01.2022 First sitting for the new team!

16.01.2022 It's a good morning to get out on the campaign trail! Photos like this show why I'm a councillor - we live in paradise! That's why I believe in the concept of Man in the Biosphere - protecting our natural environment while also living and working in it. I believe we need to strengthen our economy through diversification so that we achieve the perfect balance of jobs while still protecting our environmental diversity.

15.01.2022 Final night farewell for council veterans Noel Playford and Bob Abbot who were honoured and farewelled at Noosa Council's final meeting for the term this week. We've had a very good team this term who have worked together to produce some great results in a very short timeframe of just over 2 years!

15.01.2022 Still can't decide on who to vote for in the upcoming election? Well here's some more info from Sunshine Coast Daily on each of the candidates. I hope you choose to include me in your six Councillor candidates. http://www.sunshinecoastdaily.com.au//noosa-candi/2962537/

14.01.2022 Great idea for Mt Tinbeerwah! PS. Before you panic, look at your calendar.

14.01.2022 Di Henshall ....congratulations and celebrations ....you and Resident Hero seriously rock! #Carnivaleparty #bestdesign #noosabiz

13.01.2022 A few of my plans outlined in Noosa News: driving more economic initiatives and diversifying our economy, protection of the environment, improvements to the public transport system including a trial electric bus service, solutions to the traffic issues that are affecting the Noosa area. http://www.noosanews.com.au//frank-hopes-to-grow-/2936746/

11.01.2022 Passionate about Noosa and our people, business, environment and infrastructure.

10.01.2022 For the bingo fans, I'm lucky legs 11 on the ballot paper order as a result of the draw yesterday! So don't forget to put a mark next to the 11th name on the ballot paper, Councillor Frank Pardon for Noosa when you vote next month!

09.01.2022 In October 2016, Noosa Council agreed to take over trusteeship of the Cooroy Hall from Club Cooroy RSL and carry out community consultation to help decide what to do. Negotiations with the State government about trusteeship transfer are underway. The Community Forum on Saturday was the first step in Noosa Council's consultation process. About 150 people attended and voiced their views with considerable support for saving the hall. Given the community support to save the hall, my personal opinion is to favour the refurbishing of the hall. I urge you to also have have your say on Council's Your Say website : https://yoursay.noosa.qld.gov.au/proje/cooroy-memorial-hall

07.01.2022 Well it looks like we made it! Thank you everyone for your support. Looks like there will be a great group of councillors for next term and I'm looking forward to working with them all. Official results next week, but here is the tally so far: http://qldvotes.lgaq.asn.au/electionResults_Noosa_C_Noosa%2

07.01.2022 Come along on Saturday to the Kin Kin Oval and support Pink Stumps Day fundraiser for breast cancer. There is no secret, I'm on team Cr Sandy Bolton! Should be a fun day and for a wonderful cause!

06.01.2022 So many wonderful projects and community groups have received funding via the grants program. The new revamped Community Grants Policy will better support our local not-for-profits. Council are holding a few workshops in coming weeks on the new grants program which I recommend for those involved in any of our community groups.

04.01.2022 When voting in this election, you need to vote for 6 Councillor candidates for your vote to be valid. I'm asking for your vote as an experienced and independent candidate with a strong track record. I'll happily work with any of the other candidates. Pre-polling starts on Monday 14th at Christian Outreach, Noosaville. Election Day is Saturday 19th at various locations around the Shire, info available here: http://results.ecq.qld.gov.au//Noosa/pdf/PollingBooths.pdf.

03.01.2022 It's slow going with the results but early indications look positive. Keep up to date with the counting here: http://results.ecq.qld.gov.au//r/councillor/district1.html

01.01.2022 Congratulations to Anita Poteri and everyone involved in the organisation of the Pink Stumps Day fundraiser at Kin Kin! What a fun afternoon and for a great cause! A wonderful example of what a fantastic community we live in!

01.01.2022 My campaign advertisements are in various papers like Cooroy Rag Community Newspaper, Noosa News, Noosa Today and Sunshine Coast Seniors.
