24.01.2022 Kikuyu lawn showing it's stripes. A very good lawn to grow and renovate but does require frequent mowing to keep it looking good this time of year. #Kikuyu #LawnAddict

24.01.2022 THE ENLIGHTENMENT You may have seen these concrete sprinklers surroundings or maybe you have them in your garden. But often they ate fitted the wrong way up. The first photo shows one that is fitted upside down which allows it to be easily lifted out by a passing tea leaf. Plus it means you have more concrete exposed and less lawn. Often butted up against a curb or footpath, it prevents the lawn edger from passing cleanly beside it. The second photo shows the correc...t way up. Now you’re enlightened, enjoy the rest of your day See more

23.01.2022 The cool change is upon us and the lawns are starting to feel it. Still time to get that last bit of fertiliser on to maintain the greenery. And don't forget to have the snail pellets handy. They love to stalk the vegetation overnight during the rainy season.

23.01.2022 The quiet season is over and its time to gear up for the growing season. A recent retic job turned out to be a plumbers job. But at least we located the problem and now its in the right hands. The sprinkler ban lasts till the end of August but now is the time to plan for improvement. Happy growing season is only weeks away

22.01.2022 Everything is lined up. How’s your day? Have a great weekend

22.01.2022 The big bearded man is loaded up and ready for the annual rounds. A couple few more days of lawn service on Sunday, Monday & Tuesday. Taking this opportunity to wish one & all a very merry Christmas! Ho ho hooooooo

21.01.2022 IS 1 HORSEPOWER ENOUGH? As the financial year comes to an end its time to consider upgrading equipment such as this

21.01.2022 Want to avoid prickles in the lawn this summer? Its a great time for some family bonding outside pulling these blighters out. They are innocent beasts at the moment but when their season ends and the seeds dry up it's a different story. #actnow #bindii #springiscoming #anotherdayinWA

21.01.2022 Hoping you've recovered from the festivities as well as this lawn has! #keepitgreen #lawnaddict

21.01.2022 It certainly doesn't feel like winter. Hope you're enjoying the sunshine while it lasts. Magnificent weather!

20.01.2022 Welcome back to spring!! Sunny days are ahead and the lawns are about to jump as the warm weather hits the root system. Now is the optimum time for lawn renovations such as vertimowing(particularly for couch & Kikuyu varieties). Sprinkler bans are now lifted, although no need to panic yet. But check your system is in good working order and ready for the summer. I know you dont want to know but, Not long till Christmas

16.01.2022 Knocking Friday on the head with this beautiful beast of a lawn. Do you need help presenting your home? Don't leave it till winter. #meangreen #lawnaddict

16.01.2022 Save $$ on callout fees if you’re a regular customer. Reticulation is never care free and this week was full of extra work of such. In this particular case, the mainline was damaged by a heavy vehicle. After repairing, I left the flushing head in place so the client could run the water to expel sand & grit in the line. Sand gets in EVERY time!! After flushing, just pull the red thing, unscrew it and screw the desired nozzle on. ... And remember to pack soil well around sprinklers See more

15.01.2022 Well that was a quick summer! 38 today, dropping to 29 tomorrow, so some relief for a full day's garden makeover. Bring on Saturday evening. #Countdown to #Christmas

14.01.2022 Ever wondered what methods can be used to renovate lawns? This lawn was stripped back 3 weeks ago.

14.01.2022 Luckily for me, Its business as usual, but its not the case for many people that have lost jobs due to the current pandemic. In my situation it is quite easy to maintain social distance guidelines and with convenient monthly billing via email we can achieve nil contact. Wishing everyone good health and a speedy recovery from hard times

12.01.2022 Finishing off the working week with stripes. Its warming up again. Have a great weekend! #walawnaddict #kikuyu #lawnporn

12.01.2022 Getting the lawns in order for Christmas This family will be able to gaze at their lawn all day

11.01.2022 The sprinkler ban is over, but theres no need to switch the reticulation back on just yet. Just keep an eye on the soil after a few days or a week of fine warm weather Things will get busy soon, and as the warm weather approaches, the lawns will take on a new lease on life. Ive taken mine back to dirt a little early, but it should look good again by October. Welcome to Spring!

11.01.2022 Springtime is the best time to say goodbye to spongy lawn. The verti-mowing process shreds through the thatch build up that the regular mower cant. It's far more economical than replacing turf. Now is the time to prepare your lawn for summer

11.01.2022 Who will be exposed as a water guzzler this time? Here's an interesting perspective to read before passing judgement. Its definitely true that the City of Belmont is planting more trees to combat rising temperatures in the area.

10.01.2022 Getting stuck into spring lawn renovations with core aeration, wetting agent, fertiliser & a light top dressing for this buffalo lawn. Just one of the methods used to boost lawns into the warm season #spring #lawncare #greenbeauty

09.01.2022 Do you worry about how much water you should put on your lawn? Grab a free pack of catch cups from your nearest irrigation store and follow the Water Corporation guidelines. 10mm per cup per watering time. #Waterwise #LawnAddict #LoveYourLawn #LawnPorn

09.01.2022 Tis the season They say it’s the time to give so I added a new machine to the arsenal... although just shy of $2,000 its hardly a gift, but all machines must be replaced at some stage. This beast is about to cut its first blades of grass. Thank you to Greg, Sandy & the team at Power Equipment Centre, Welshpool. They have always provided great service!

07.01.2022 So often I forget to take before & after shots! Today I tidied up a property, pruned roses, trimmed shrubs, removed weeds, spread mulch & mowed the lawn. Just after leaving, a nice message came through. It’s so reassuring to get positive feedback like this. Picture is just for attention- me looking smug Hi Frank, THANK YOU! Thomas has sent me some photos and you’ve done a beautiful job... we are down this weekend so will get retic setup and turned on. Katrina

06.01.2022 With only a few days till this rig lands on our rooftops, its time to wish you a jolly green festive season. With 45 days forecast, it looks like we miss out on snow once again Wishing you a very merry Christmas and happy new year

06.01.2022 FEELING HYDROPHOBIC? Probably not, but this is probably the biggest issue for Perth soils. Often beatles & other bugs cop a lot of blame for patchy lawns when the reality is most likely that no matter how much water you apply, it just doesn’t soak down to the root zone. To overcome this, an application of wetting agent once or twice a year is highly recommended. You could even find yourself saving water and reducing your water bill Wetting agents are available in... liquid or granular form to accommodate different situations. Combine wetting agent with a well balanced slow release fertiliser and its happy days for your turf! Spring has sprung, so now is the time to set your lawn up for summer See more

06.01.2022 Yes, its a tad warm, so whilst wetting your whistle, remember to quench the thirst of your herbs & vegies. They are not so deep rooted as the lawn so pull out the hand-piece and give them a squirt each morning before work, then check again when you return. Its therapeutic

05.01.2022 Save a few $$ by cutting back. And remember, sprinkler bans are in place from June 1

05.01.2022 Luckily for me, It’s business as usual, but its not the case for many people that have lost jobs due to the current pandemic. In my situation it is quite easy to maintain social distance guidelines and with convenient monthly billing via email we can achieve nil contact. Wishing everyone good health and a speedy recovery from hard times

03.01.2022 Some days it's hard to see the wood for the trees. The sun is shining now, so things are looking good. Happy days!

02.01.2022 Facebook tells me that 8 years ago I was in Mosman Park tackling olive groves and creepers. How time flies!! And yes, I am the creep up top Looking forward to an early sea breeze today. Have a good one!

02.01.2022 Sometimes we just need to get back to basics Hope you had a fantastic #WADay long weekend! #justanotherdayinWA At least the weekend was fine

01.01.2022 Spare a thought for our garden dwellers that look on as I'm striping the lawn

01.01.2022 IT AIN'T NO BED OF ROSES... But it's a welcome transition from the jungle of weeds! #weedmat #Karrimulch

01.01.2022 Puzzled about how much water your lawn needs? Is 5, 10, 20, 30, 40 minutes enough?? The answer is 10 millimetre. Run your retic for however long it takes to get 10mm in your FREE catch cups
