If youve had kids 5, 10 or 15 years ago and you dont feel confident during exercise or are unsure if youre engaging the pelvic floor correctly please make sure you make this appointment a priority. - After your 6 week check up.. Applications are now open for next years Regional Youth Taskforce,... an advisory group to the NSW Government about everyday issues facing young people in regional and rural NSW. Two representatives from each of the nine NSW regions will be selected to join the taskforce and share their experiences and ideas for programs, services and infrastructure to improve life in the regions. Its easy to apply simply fill out the online form and create a short video on your phone about who you are and the most important issues facing young people in your part of the world. A recent review of randomised controlle...d trials confirmed that well-designed exercise programs that safely challenge balance and involve three hours of exercise per week, are most effective for older people living in the general community. Remember to see your physiotherapist if you are not sure about the best approach for you. 09.01.2022 2020 REGIONAL WELLBEING SURVEY IS OPEN! This survey undertaken by the University of Canberra aims to understand how the wellbeing of people living in rural, reg...ional and urban areas of Australia is changing, and the things that are affecting quality of life (in good and bad ways) in different communities. Your participation in the survey makes a difference - many organisations use our survey findings, ranging from local governments to farming and community organisations. This is a very important survey for Leeton Shire and we need at least 100 survey respondents so that we get our own section of meaningful data in this research. The data collected informs some of the trends Leeton Shire are tracking in our Community Strategic Plan. It is vital to encourage as many residents as possible to complete the survey. You can participate by completing a survey online at www.regionalwellbeing.org.au or, if you prefer, completing a paper copy of the survey. If you wish to complete the survey on paper and dont have a paper survey form, you can call and request a paper copy be mailed to you by calling 1800 981 499. This years survey will take between 10 and 60 minutes to complete, depending on whether you choose to complete the very short, regular or long version of the survey, and whether all the questions apply to you. Survey closes on 30 October 2020.
