17.01.2022 Mel was just saying at our last Food swap gathering that saving seeds from your favourite grown produce ensures you’ll have acclimatized seeds, perfect for local conditions. We have a fantastic seed library at Frankston Food Swap, stocked by members’ saved seeds and surplus commercial seeds. Donations are always welcome

08.01.2022 What a fabulous way to kick of our 5th year of crop swapping last Saturday. It was great to see that everyone’s gardens have stood up to recent heat and smoke, although it seems none of us are having much luck with our tomatoes. Lots of fruit, but taking their time to ripen. We swapped stories of what’s been happening in our gardens and met some new faces too. Thanks everyone for coming along. Happy cooking, preserving and eating!
