25.01.2022 What would the Australian Open be without 35 degree temperatures!! Congratulations to all the players who competed in the 2017 AO. All the players took advantage of the conditions and worked out how to stay hydrated, how to refuel between matches, the benefits of a towel on court and generally learnt how to play in hot conditions. Well done!!! Thanks to the all the assistant coaches who looked after all the young players throughout the day. Thanks to Simone, Dave and Theresa for putting together another successful event. Thanks Tennis NSW and Wilson Tennis for your continued support. Andrew

23.01.2022 Weather Update: Rain has stopped Red Ball Singles Events will commence as scheduled (9am) Orange Ball doubles have been postponed and will be played at the conclusion of the orange ball singles (12.30pm)... Green Ball doubles to run as scheduled (12pm). Green Ball Singles will be delayed 30mins and commence at 2.30pm Will update if weather changes.

21.01.2022 Wow, quelle une journe incroyable! Rain threatened to ruin the party, however, the rain stopped on cue and the sun broke through for a beautiful sunny day. A day equally matched by the fantastic tennis. The qualitity of the rallies, the sportsmanship and the new friendships made was great to watch. Thank you to everyone for making the day so much fun. Special mentions to Theresa, Dave, Maria and all the on court mentors (all past players of this Series), thank you to Tennis NSW, Wilson Tennis ... great stuff! 17.01.2022 What a Blast... another awesome day for Hot Shots Tennis ! The quality of tennis, the (friendly) competitiveness and the level of sportsmanship was amazing. It is so good to see all the kids playing such great tennis. Thank you to Simone, the 14 young mentors that assisted with scoring and match allocations, parents and players for making this Challenge such a great day. Thanks, Theresa and Dave. 17.01.2022 Australian Open Hot Shots Challenge. It is forecasted to be quite hot tomorrow, so please be prepared. Some tips would be to hydrate today as well as in the morning. Ensure you eat nutritious meals tonight and tomorrow. Pack water bottles, hats, spare shirts, reapply sunscreen throughout the day and even bring a towel. We will be constantly monitoring the weather conditions as well as the kids and supervisors and will make any appropriate adjustments to formats, start times etc to ensure the kids safety. Thank you.

13.01.2022 Whats Wimbledon without a little rain to start the day. Once the rain cleared, we saw some fantastic tennis. So many oohs and aahs during so many rallies, it was great to watch. The sportsmanship was amazing, the use of spin, variety of pace and direction and many ventures to the net was a joy to watch. Congrats to all the winners and to all the players for competing so well today. Thanks to the all the parents that helped create the fun atmosphere. Thanks to the NBHS Team of Theresa, Dave, Maria, Simone and to the 16 plus mentors on court. See you at the US Open! Andrew

11.01.2022 The simple philosophy of "the player controlling the ball, as opposed to the ball controlling the player" was on display at our Wimbledon Challenge. Net approaches, spin serves, hitting angles with topspin, slice dropshots, ripping forehands and backhands, and many nail biting rallies was all on display. "Its like watching mini professional players play" said one parent. Its so nice where its all about the tennis and the players development!... 10.01.2022 The Best of the Best were on display today at our 7th year ending Masters event. Amazing rallies, fantastic sportsmanship, stacks of smiles and so many matches that came down to "the wire". Thank you to all the parents, all the players, all the assistants and Tennis NSW for all the support. It was great to have Tim Hill from Tennis to present some of our awards. It seems these players are getting better and better, the quality of the rallies were amazing, as was the sportsmanship and manner in which the players competed. 01.01.2022 What a great day. Congratulations to all the players who competed in this years tournament. While we couldnt install clay courts or the officials couldnt speak French, the parents and spectators did enjoy a coffee and the kids enjoyed some croissants! Thanks you to all the young assistants (all past players of our Grand Slam Series). Thanks to Simone, Dave and Theresa for making these tournaments what they are. ...
