17.01.2022 Do you know a volunteer in our community worthy of recognition? You know, those silent achievers who often go unnoticed - flying under the radar. National Volunteer Week is just around the corner 17 to 23 May 2021. While there will be many activities celebrating and thanking the many volunteers in Townsville, none will be bigger than the VNQ 2021 NQ Volunteer Awards.... The NQ Volunteer Awards celebrates the thousands of volunteers enriching our communities. Councillors have been asked to submit five nominations for worthy recipients from our respective divisions. The nomination categories are listed in the attached flyer. If you've got a suggestion then I'd like to hear about it. Please submit your suggestion via email to me, Fran.O'[email protected]. no later than 30th April. Please include details as to why you are nominating this person and please include your contact phone number so I can contact you for any further information I may need.

04.01.2022 It was a case of "Hats On", rather than "Hats Off" recently, measuring up against Pricey at the recent Townsville City Council's "Big Ideas Youth Challenge" - an opportunity for Townsville Youth to develop their entrepreneurial skills.
