19.01.2022 Just received the programme and list of visiting authors for Clunes Booktown (May 2&3). We're excited - are you? Author talks, panels and workshops for fiction fans will take place across the weekend ranging with Andy Griffiths, Garry Disher, Judy Nunn, Ann & Geoffrey Blainey, Chloe Hooper, Don Watson, Robert Gott, Nina Kenwood and more presenting within the beautiful heritage buildings of Clunes. As always across the weekend, the central township of Clunes will feature a ...street-long book shop, with festival-goers able to browse rare and collectible books as well as contemporary publications signed by their favourite authors. Experience live music, be entertained by street performers, visit exhibitions and relax with a sample of local food and wine, with, of course, your favourite book in hand. Visiting authors are: Geoffrey Blainey (Tyranny of Distance) Anne Buist (This I would kill for) Lisa de Nikolits (No Fury Like That: A Novel) Garry Disher (Peace) Michael Earp (Kindred) Alison Evans (Euphoria Kids) Sharon Flynn (The Fermentary) Ross Garnaut (Superpower) Anna George (The Lone Child) Robert Gott (The Autumn Murders) Andy Griffiths (Treehouse series) Leigh Hobbs (Mr Chicken Series) Paul Hardisty (Turbulent Wake) Charles Massey (Call of the Reed Warbler) Chris Flynn (Mammoth) Maya Linnell (Wildflower Ridge) Donna Ward (She I Dare Not Name) Erin Lewis-Fitzgerald (Modern Mending) Timothy Entwisle (Sprinter and Sprummer) David Pollock (The Wooleen Way) Chloe Hooper (The Arsonist) Nina Kenwood (It Sounded Better In My Head) Judy Nunn (Khaki Town) Sean OBierne (A Couple of Things Before the End) Sue Pieters-Hawke (Remembering Bob) Sally Rugg (How Powerful We Are: Behind the Scenes with one of Australias Leading Activists) Jane Sullivan (Storytime) Leah Swann (Irina: The Triology) Melekh Ravitsh (The eccentric outback quest of an urbane Yiddish poet from Poland) Julia Hamer (The Hearts ground, a Life of Anne Elder) David Box (Australian Gin)
