22.01.2022 Wow what a year 2020 has turned out to be aye? Frustrating, debilitating and one we'd rather sooner forget to be honest. As if bush fires and flooding weren't e...nough of a KO combo, Covid really knocked us for a six!!! But like everything 2020 threw at us we found silver linings in every challenge: * We found out who and what essential work constituted! * Frontline responders were finally being recognised as real life heroes. * We began to appreciate how important family and friends are, especially when we couldn't reach out to them. * We found ourselves having to use our imagination and initiative to do what use to be the mundane. * We found ways to play within the new restriction playing rules. So yes 2020 has been a tough year but lets give thanks for the really important things in our lives......like family and friends!!! On behalf of the SQ Zone Committee we just wanna take the opportunity to wish all a very Merry Xmas and a safe, happy and prosperous New Years SQ Zone Team #inthezone #keepingyouinformed #seeyouonthewater

14.01.2022 Beach Users please be aware of upgrades to the following beach access point in Urangan (UGN 25 ) & Point Vernon (PTV20). The construction period will be over the November early December period weather permitting. Please take care in the construction area while works are underway.

I do this because I have plenty of f...ree time and enjoy my photography. So I promote local sporting clubs and activities. It's a shame that no other clubs approach me to help them out with an activity but there's nothing I can do about that. Their loss. Enjoy the photos and more to come. 04.01.2022 COME & TRY SUNDAY 22nd NOVEMBER CANCELLED: We have alot of members away paddling at a Regatta so not enough members available to run our session so unfortunatley come and try is cancelled. Thank you to everyone showing interest and your understanding, we would love to see you all next week. Weather permitting.

02.01.2022 The most important habit to have is the ability to always believe in yourself..... I've been thinking about this alot lately, regarding failure and rejection....... It all seems to come back to timing, or worthiness... Well those are the two things I use to justify why something hasn't worked... But I'm beginning to see that maybe those are stories I've created over time, and when I use it to prop myself up after failure im not dealing with whats really going on... I'm starting to see how time is a construct of my emotions, and the value of it dependant on my emotion at that time. When I attach my worthiness to that it determines how long a phase lasts for. What im trying to say is ive been using time as a motivation in the wrong way. I've been using it as an excuse... If i focus on believing fully in myself no matter what then time has nothing to do with it, but the value I place on the time I spend focused on doubting my worthiness vs time spent on knowing im worth it changes everything.... its not a means to an end.... and when doesn't matter. All of a sudden I feel motivated in a whole different way....
