17.01.2022 Gday Fellas WOW - what a magic couple of months we have had.....things have been a bit of a blur since May....we have not even had time for Facebook :) It was fantastic to cater for a number of Sorry Day and Reconciliation week events - The Koojay Corroboree on Coogee Beach and Kiama Councils Sorry Day ceremony were two events that we would not have missed for the world.... NAIDOC week was AMAZING we started attending NAIDOC events in the last week of June, and finished our last one down at Kiama High School just last week. We catered for an amazing array of events at a number of schools, government departments, community organisations and a variety of other businesses. Whilst each event was special, one of the highlights for us was to be able to provide lunch for 65 clients at Darcy House. Darcy House is a drop-in centre that provides a safe space for people who are homeless, and it was an amazing experience to be able to give something back to the community. Another exciting development is that Fred has enrolled in the Bushfoods - Certificate III in Production Horticulture. This is the first step in expanding the business into bushfood production. 11.01.2022 Come along to Sydney Living Museums Vaucluse House Estate next Saturday for my Whale Festival event with amazing performances on the beach by Ngaran Ngaran Culture Awareness and the Djaadjawan Dancers. Fred will be cooking up some local fish with lemon myrtle, wrapped in paperbark or enjoy a feed of crocodile, kangaroo or squid from Freds Bush Tucker.

Experience the significance of the whale to Aboriginal culture through dance performances from Ngaran Ngaran Culture Awareness and the Djaadjawan Dancers. Taste a cook up of local fish by Freds Bush Tucker and seafood stew by Sydney Living Museums colonial gastronomer, Jacqui Newling.
