EAPA assistance is provided by the NSW government and the assistance is sent electronically to your energy retailer and used to credit your home electricity or gas account. EAPA assistance cant be used to put your energy account into credit. Applying for EAPA assistance involves an eligibility assessment, the amount of EAPA assistance is subject to limits and is based on your assessment. 12.01.2022 When our government declared a state of emergency many concerns filled my heart. I felt the need to help people, but it seemed there was a shortage of resources. The words of Matthew 16:14 came to me: Jesus replied You give them something to eat. There are many children in our neighbourhood from low income households and some parents leave their children at home while they go to work. Japan is said to be a developed country, but these issues affect one in six children in... our nation. With the help of a few volunteers we started a childrens lunch feeding programme. We have seen God perform miracles through a few loaves and fish: we received monetary donations and dairy farmers who supply milk for school lunches provided us with plenty of milk. One mother wrote to say thank you. It had been very hard to leave her children alone while she went to work and she was so grateful that they were receiving a nutritious meal. God is faithful. Our aim is to meet your immediate material needs, whilst working to understanding your situation. We want to assist you with any underlying long-term issues to prevent you from falling into, or deeper into, the poverty cycle. If you need emergency assistance, please call us on 1300 371 288.
