17.01.2022 The sea slug, also known as Anna’s Chromodoris. Found solo or in pairs amongst sand and rubble areas of coral and rocky reefs. They feed on sponges. These beautiful slugs are brilliantly coloured and this in itself can act as a deterrent against predators. They are slow moving and can swim. They use their tiny hairs on the bottom of their fleshy ‘foot’. 06.01.2022 Not only is our world changing but so is our reef. With the low tides we are getting, the coral is being exposed to the sun, making it look bleached. This process is the corals way of protecting itself (in a good way). We are starting to see the reef around the island rejuvenating itself and making new homes for our sea friends.
