25.01.2022 If youre after some activities for your young footy players check out Garrys page below. He is a footy coach and a Auskick Coordinator here in WA and has been sharing his knowledge and skills for families to continue their footy at home during these crazy times! Thanks Garry!!

24.01.2022 Well that was a better result from our Perth teams this weekend!! Anyone else excited about our kids footy starting in just a couple of weekends??

24.01.2022 Looking forward to seeing you at 6 for our annual general meeting!

23.01.2022 A bit of fun down at Auskick this morning with all the children invited to come dressed in their favourite team colours. Congratulations to the winners from each grade!!

23.01.2022 Woo hoo we have a date!! July 18 is the date that all clubs are working to for our kids to start playing again. There is lots of detail for us to get through and well be in touch via email.

22.01.2022 Email just sent to parents of Junior players (year 3 and up). Well all of our patience has finally paid off and our season will now commence on 18 July, after the school holidays! It will be a 10 week season, finishing at the end of September, plus finals for the older year groups. ... All training is now underway. If you are new to our club or havent heard from your team manager, please contact our President Ben Meakins on 0409 765 846. Registrations are open at our website: www.fremantlecitydockers.com.au/registrations Your child must be registered to play. Uniforms - we have handed over the management and sales of our club uniforms to Armando Sports. They are located at 1/289 Stock Road, OConnor. Tel 9331 8992. If you have younger children in Auskick, their season will start on Sunday 19th July. Auskick is run nationally and the AFL controls their registrations, which should be open next week. We will send you a separate email to confirm this. We look forward to seeing you and your children when the season begins! Yours Exec Committee

22.01.2022 Thank you for your patience, we are happy to say that the Auskick season will now commence on Sunday 19 July! It will be a 10 week season, finishing later than usual at the end of September. All Auskick (pre primary to year 2) sessions are played at Dick Lawrence Oval, Sundays at 8.30am. There is no mid week training.... Pre primary play for 50 minutes, Yr 1 for 60 and Yr 2, 70 minutes. If your child is in pre primary, we are looking for a team manager and coordinator. It is a straightforward role as the point of contact between your new year group and our Club. You can email our Auskick Coordinator Lisa with your interest or any questions on [email protected] After a few technical issues, the AFL has opened up the Auskick registrations. You can register via our website: www.fremantlecitydockers.com.au/registrations If you had already registered your child earlier this year there isnt anything that you need to do. Uniforms - we have handed over the management and sales of our club uniforms to Armando Sports. This makes it much easier for parents to access our stock 7 days a week, rather than the hour on a Wednesday afternoon and is one less volunteer role that we need to fill! Armando Sports is located at 1/289 Stock Road, OConnor. Tel 9331 8992. Any children that are new to our Club will get a free training shirt and you will need to purchase a pair of Club shorts and socks. We look forward to seeing you and your children when the Auskick sessions finally begin! Sunday 19th July, 8.30am for all age groups. Yours Exec Committee

21.01.2022 Nothing like a deadline to sort out boots with the season starting on the last weekend of the school holidays! Armando Sports who now handle our Club uniform sales are offering a great 20 - 50% off boots and 20% off the RRP on everything else store wide for Club members this Saturday from 9am to 5pm. We have handed over the management and sales of our Club uniforms to make it much easier for parents to access our stock 7 days a week, rather than the hour on a Wednesday aftern...oon (plus it is one less volunteer role that we need to fill). Note that our fixed price Club uniforms arent included in this sale. Armando Sports is located at 1/289 Stock Road, OConnor. Tel 9331 8992. Any children that are new to our Club will get a free training shirt (please show your new member registration email) and you will need to purchase a pair of Club shorts and socks. Due to production issues from Covid there are some shortages in our Club sock sizes. Armando can advise which sizes and timings for new stock.

21.01.2022 Over the weekend we moved into Stage 5 of the WAFL & Community Football Return to Play Roadmap. For more information on training guidelines and protocols including club resources visit >> http://www.wafootball.com.au/covid19

20.01.2022 Woo hoo!! Cant wait

20.01.2022 The season starts a week tomorrow! Well except for the poor teams who kick off with a bye The fixtures on our website are up to date. www.fremantlecitydockers.com.au/fixtures... Team managers are sending out your info, keep an eye on email and text messages. Auskick (PP - Y2) sessions are every Sunday from 8.30. If your child had a mouthguard fitted through the club at the first session, the dentist has emailed you directly or your team manager will have it if it wasnt collected at the Club rooms. Have a great season!

20.01.2022 Ha ha this is so good. One to actually make the teenagers wash their hands??

20.01.2022 Our fabulous Rhiannon and family finished up their services to our canteen at the end of last season. With the disrupted season and covid restrictions, we are going with a food truck and coffee van to sustain, awaken and reward you and your kids! Many of you met our coffee van The Caffeine Machine - The Event Professionals last weekend. ... This weekend were happy to introduce Temels Turkish Food Van! Temel and Nicole are a local family and will look after you with chips (and the ever popular gravy option), bacon and egg burgers, kids meat boxes, kebabs, gozleme, drinks and lollies. Theyre open to suggestions too for menu additions. Enjoy!

20.01.2022 For female Year 12s and upwards, North Fremantle will be fielding a womens team in the Perth competition. Details in their post below.

19.01.2022 This whole weekend is dedicated to Umpire Appreciation. Here are the Y4 - Freo City Dockers vs Bibra Lake. In the heat of the moment we need to remember that many of our umpires are kids themselves and of course, anyone can make mistakes!

17.01.2022 Happy wet windup day!!

17.01.2022 Last chance to sort out your childs mouthguards through the Club before the season starts. This is for juniors (not required for Auskick). If you used the first session the mouthguards will be available next week and we will be in touch about collection.

Dental cover means no out of pocket cost for a standard mouthguard. Appointments must be booked online, using the link in the event. ... And by using our preferred supplier the Club benefits!

07.01.2022 Well can you feel footy getting that little bit closer?? We know theres information coming out on the news and emails from the WAFC. There are various start dates for the season being debated at higher levels.... Your FCDJFC Exec Committee are meeting shortly to discuss the logistics of recommencing training. We will also be discussing whether we can actually access our training grounds and what volunteers we need to ensure our kids are safe as possible, which is always our main priority. 03.01.2022 This weekend Temels Turkish Food Van Is back and theyre going to put on a sausage sizzle both days! Plus the regular chips and chips and gravy, bacon and egg burgers, kids meat boxes, kebabs, gozleme, drinks and lollies.

01.01.2022 Ok so heres the no news news! You should have seen an email for Auskick and Juniors sent out to the parents of players registered last year and so far this year. Due to maximum numbers that can gather and how involved parents have to be in the Auskick sessions, their season is on hold. The WAFC has said its at least 4 weeks away, but there a lot of steps to get to that stage. There are huge restrictions on Juniors restarting preseason training with the relaxing of restric...tions next week. There are very stringent rules and each teams coach would need assistance from parents. But firstly we need approval of the Council to proceed as they control Dick Lawrence Oval and other venues that we use. We will let you know of any changes as soon as we can. Although we would love to rush back into footy, the safety of our kids is always our main priority. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
