23.01.2022 Connect is our main form of communication with our school community. We encourage all parents to access Connect as all updates regarding COVID-19 are sent out via this forum. Teachers have now set up their individual classes. It appears that there are still some parents having difficulty accessing Connect or the link originally emailed has expired. Please contact me on [email protected] if you are still having problems, need the link resending, need a pass...word reset or just want to send an email!!! Remember that Absentee Notifications can only be submitted via the portal and not the App at this stage.

20.01.2022 It was a beautiful and emotional farewell ceremony yesterday. Fremantle Primary School P&C gave flowers and gifts on behalf of our parents community. Thank y...ou for giving our kids the advice that they need to make good decisions, for teaching the younger generation how they can shape the future, for showing the lost kids that theres a bright future ahead of them, for making daily sacrifices for the good of the kids, for being committed to such a selfless profession, for helping parents like me breathe easier, and for being the best teacher any student could ever have. We are forever grateful to Mr. Hayden Omara, Mrs. Nikki Rooke, Mrs. Robyn Bothwell, Mrs. Sue Boyle, Ms. Kerry Banting, Ms. Barlow, Ms. Edith, Ms. Elle Williams and Ms.Tarita Atkinson. We wish you all the best. Special thanks to Dave Sachse, Nikki Rooke and Lauren for planning the ceremony. Brigid and Lisa for preparing the gifts.

03.01.2022 Science news: All the classes have had the opportunity to make butter over the last few weeks and they have LOVED it! Try it at home by simply filling a container half full with cream and shaking until a solid forms. Tastes great on toast or if youve got more time make some piklets with the buttermilk that is produced, spread with the butter and put them in the lunchbox!

03.01.2022 Thanks to our wonderful P&C and Paul Mier from Sefton Construction for the new scooter racks! They are brilliant!

03.01.2022 Greetings all, just to let you know that due to an increasingly unsafe retaining wall, we have had to put up a temporary fence near the memorial garden to keep our students and families safe. If playing nearby after school, please can you let children know that its unsafe and to find one of the many other play spaces to play. We know this is a well used corridor, and that some of you will have prams, so please can you make a slight scenic detour using the path nearest the classroom wall. The Department of Education is aware of this fault and will be rectifying it as soon as possible. We thank you for your patience and understanding.

03.01.2022 We had some fun with dry ice, ooblek and making a super cold bag in the last Science lessons of term this week. Idea Make a Super cold bag for a holiday activity: 1 teaspoon of citric acid, 1 teaspoon of bicarb (baking) soda in a zip lock bag. Add 30ml of water, quickly seal bag.... Watch, listen and feel what happens! Happy holidays to all!

03.01.2022 Fremantle PS was well represented at the Big Splash farewell event this Sunday afternoon. Our dolphin Bubble was admired by many visitors commenting on how wonderful it was that the students were so involved in its creation. We thank Suzanne Vickery for her dedication to this project. Awards were given to one primary and one high school out of the 40 that took part and there was one very special award to a parent who has been championing the Big Splash message......our very... own Laura Pengelly-Jones!!! Thank you Laura for your passion and motivation to get this program onto our school, our students will benefit now and in the future from learning about, and understanding, these important messages about mental health. Every parent should have received a handout with information about the Big Splash messages last week. There are more available in the office. Please continue to talk to your children about these ideas.
