Great to see the encouragement for our talented female athletes state wide. Jessica Moffat was invited to this camp but unfortunately due to an injury received at Indoor States Titles last weekend she wasn't able to participate.

06.01.2022 The committee would like to congratulate all of our Rovers players for a fantastic season. Our juniors were handed out to other clubs to help them make teams and to ensure that our players got the most out of the season by playing with the same team every week. Thank you to all of our junior players and parents for being so open to this idea and for your constant support of both your children, the team they were playing in and our club. Our Frenchy parents are awesome. O...ur senior players had it pretty tough as well. Trying to figure out how we could spread 17 male players and 19 female players across both div 1 and 2 was certainly a challenge both on and off the field. But somehow it worked. We raised a few eyebrows, certainly had some interesting discussions at meetings but at the end of the day we fielded 4 very competitive teams. Thank you to all of our coaches and managers for your assistance throughout the season the committee really appreciates all your time and effort every week to ensure we have players, tech bench people and umpires. To everyone that took on umpiring duties we appreciate you. From the experienced, the occasional umpire and the ones that blew the whistle for the first time - thank you. To know we have a solid base of players and supporters who stick with frenchville year after year, through the good seasons and the tough seasons is a blessing and the committee appreciates each and every one of you. Do we need more players yes we do but knowing the heart of our club beats strongly will be our strength for years to come. Hope you all enjoyed your end of season celebrations last night, silly Sunday today and we will cap it off with an awesome presentation dinner on the 3rd of October. FRENCHVILLE ROCKS!!!!!!

01.01.2022 Hi everyone, I'd like to let you know that I've made the decision not to take on the Secretary role for Frenchville Rovers Hockey next year as I have alot going on in my personal life that doesn't allow me to commit the time to this role. I've been in the secretary role for 8 years and before that I've also been junior and senior coordinator for the club. I've worked alongside 5 different Club Presidents and numerous executive committee members in that time and there are a ...few that I'd like to personally thank for all they've done to assist me during the past few years in particular Stephen Kydd, Julie Moffat and Cherie Price. Thanks also to everyone who has volunteered to help, whether at a Bunnings sausage sizzle, raffles, umpiring, tech bench or various other tasks, its truly appreciated. I'll still be playing and helping out when I can so I'll see you all around the hockey fields. Many thanks Lynette Foster
