25.01.2022 This Sunday! Our trees are of the Pinus radiata variety. We grow and harvest the trees at our farms in Collie and Margaret River. We try and harvest our trees no more than 18 hours before they arrive at the markets. After the trees are harvested we spray every tree with a product that seals the pores of the needles to prevent water loss. This is the same product that is used to preserve flowers in the cut flower industry. It is non-toxic and bio-degradable. We sell a range ...of different sized trees at the markets and at Stubbs Terrace. We also sell Xmas tree stands to suit our trees. 10.01.2022 Merry Christmas Everyone! Thank you for supporting Freo Farmers Market in 2020! What a Year we have had! We had a Wedding! We got moved out and then moved back. (thanks to Covid). We did a lot together! We listened to a lot of music together, we drank a lot of coffee and juice together, we ate breakfast, and 2nd breakfast, and morning tea, and brunch together. We shopped together and grew closer to the people we bought from. We supported local farming and small bus...iness. We supported community. We watched the kids grow up another year, we saw how much they loved Fairy Sandie and Farmer Damian and Ariane's Craft Tent. We shared our Covid stories and our other stories. We ate well! We cooked great food. We bought sustainably. We were plastic free. We celebrated Mothers Day, Fathers Day, International Women's Day and Easter together. You kept us going! On behalf of the market community I want to thank you all for your support, it's been a fantastic year with some challenges, but I reckon we are ending the year with a smile on our faces!
