15.01.2022 Its been a sad few days, our mate Mat has decided to stand down from his role as head of sound for Sofar Perth, to focus his spare time efforts on his own musi...c. Whilst of course this is a huge loss, we couldnt be happier for him and look forward to whats coming up from Camarano. Huge thanks to Milkman Audio for what you have done for us and more importantly what you did for the artist community that has joined us so far. You have become and will continue to be a good friend. As they say though, the show must go on and as a result we have an opening to come and join our team. Sofar Sounds is a demanding enterprise especially as we are all volunteers. It consumes a great deal of free time in ensuring each event is a great experience from the audience to the artists and our production showcases this. We are interested in hearing from anyone who has an intermediate to advance understanding of the requirements to manage and record the live event sound and thereafter mixing and mastering the production audio. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone wishing to get industry experience in a relaxed, low pressure & friendly environment.
