21.01.2022 Perfect day for a perfect boy ...

21.01.2022 I went to show someone a family portrait shoot I did back in May 2014. I had taken the couples wedding photos about 12 years earlier and they asked me would I do something for them . It was special, it was sad and it was important. They now had a family, twin young teen girls and a little 2 year old boy . Marina had been diagnosed with cancer and she was about to start chemotherapy. She was a few days away from losing her beautiful long hair and although it is a small price ...to pay for good health it would still be difficult. So they wanted me to create some family photos to help them remember this part of the journey together as a family. When I was showing the slideshow today to a lady, who was crying ( before I even told her the background story of Marinas battle ) I thought to myself these photos need to be seen again. I know there's people that wished her well back then would be happy to know that she has been given the all clear and is on the road to recovery. So thank you for all your prayers because God heard them. And thank you to Marina and Bruno for the opportunity to capture them during one of the scariest times of their lives . Marina said to me , "I want the kids to have something to remember me by" . I said to her that day "No, that's not what I'm doing these photos for . I'm just taking pictures so one day you will ALL look back together on that time in your life when you were going through probably the most difficult thing ever in your life so far , and you will proud of how you never gave up and were there for each other and your children. Family is everything and people shouldn't wait till they are scared of loosing someone to tell them how much they care. Never take for granted what you have people. Don't sweat the small stuff.
