25.01.2022 CHRISTMAS IS COMING...........and a new batch of fledglings are about to 'leave the nest' and venture out into the unknown. The question is: Will they survive...? The Aussie Dumb A*se Cookbooks are the perfect gift to give to someone who might be struggling to put a simple meal on the table. They are a combination of tried and true recipes and techniques, and quirky photos and illustrations; laced together with some good ol' Aussie humour. Someone contacted me today trying to source some copies of "The Aussie Dumb A*se Cookbook for their grandchildren so I directed them to my post below which contains the link for ordering online. They can be ordered in either e-book or printed format and sent anywhere in the world. If you are wanting them for Christmas gifts, the advice from Australia Post is to not leave it too late to order.................... OK, I know it's been a long time between drinks but I have some exciting news! Definitely exciting for me and hopefully for you too. The whole Covid debacle and realizing that there will always be a need for people to know the basics prompted me to 'get off my proverbial." I have finally done something that I intended to do some time ago and that is to have my books converted to e-books on Kindle and Amazon, where you can order books for your mobile devices. Hard copies can be ordered through Ingram Spark which is as Australian company who will print and post globally as there are some hiccups with Amazon on this front currently. 02.01.2022 The Kimba Christmas Pageant is going ahead! Father Christmas will be visiting, as well as entertainment for the kids, glow products and food/drinks. CHECK OUT O...UR FLOAT AND LIGHT COMP PRIZES -- Due to the Parade unfortunately being cancelled last year, we have added the Prize Money to this years competitions It is well worth entering this year!!... (Float registrations to Kristy Schubert - Light Judging on Wednesday 16th Dec) Due to Covid Requirements, we will need a few extra helpers on the night. If you are able to lend us a hand or spare us a bit of your time, please contact a committee member.
