25.01.2022 Our member Greg Acciaioli was speaker on the area of his expertise - Anthropology and Sociology and in particular in the Indonesian area. He began by describing his involvement with pesticides and how at one time for about 5 years Indonesia was a world leader in the reduction of pesticides. We learnt that people who are born on boats are without a country and that there are pockets of these people in Indonesia and Malaysia. Greg's width and breadth of experience and involvement in this region is way too broad to cover in a few words so please take a look at his excellent presentation Live on the RCFB Facebook page. A significant comment by PDG Sonny Lungfiel from Dresden in Germany is "I'm impressed by the Indonesian impressions provided by your today's speaker. In Germany we don't have many reports on this country."
