23.01.2022 Spring has Sprung upon us! For some Spring can mean the start of the Allergy season and with that comes itchy eyes, scratchy throats and running noses! When you’re having a hard time sleeping it can affect not only your physical health but your mental well being and relationships. So, if you're experiencing a bad night's sleep it might be worth considering swinging by the pharmacy to see if your eligible for our home sleep study. Don't worry we promise we will be awake to chat with you! To be eligible for our home sleep study*:... Must hold a valid Medicare Card Must not have had a sleep study done in the past 12 months Must have a Dr referral that is not more than 12 months old The Dr referral must have the Epworth Sleepiness Scale, Stop Bang Questionnaire and or the OSA50 Questions complete and meet the minimum requirements on those questionnaires.

03.01.2022 Have you been practicing good sleep hygiene? ‘Sleep hygiene’ is the term used to describe good sleep habits. So, Linda wanted to share with you some sleep hygiene tips, because we all need an amazing night’s sleep: ... Be regular with your bed time. Go to sleep when you feel tired. If you can’t fall asleep get up for 20 minutes and doing something calming (like a meditation app) and then go back to try again! Avoid coffee and alcohol at least 4-6 hours before bedtime. Exercise and aim to eat a healthy balanced diet. No napping during the day. If you want some further advice on how to achieve a good night’s sleep come speak to Linda and the team
