Congratulations to our ASKAP team, who have taken out this... years 2015 CSIRO Chairmans Medal for their ground-breaking work with the Phased Array Feed (or PAF). The PAF has not only drastically improved our ability to survey the deepest and darkest corners of the Universe, but could even improve communication systems in densely populated areas back here on Earth.
