24.01.2022 ON THE WATER The Edward River is famous for its long stretches of smooth water. What’s more, our warm climate means you can start enjoying the... water sooner! No need to wait until the middle of summer to dip your toes or make a splash. In fact this past weekend there were plenty of people already making the most of the river! (Yep! These photos were taken on Saturday ) What we love: Downstream of the beautiful, sandy Mclean Beach you can power all the way to the Deniliquin Boat Club without the congestion found at many other locations. Plus there are boat ramps aplenty along this stretch of water to launch your craft. Tip: The most popular boat ramp is at McLean Beach. The beach here is stunning and great for family BBQs, a little sun baking or even a walk with the dogs. After a bit of quiet time? The river around Deni is divided into a ski zone and a no-ski zone, so whether you want a peaceful paddle or even a swim, or you’re keen to carve up that wake, the Edward River has you covered.
