25.01.2022 The art group today enjoyed working with acrylics and creating beautiful paintings with silicon cells. Taught by Karen Puttock. Some beautiful patterns come through in the artworks don't they?
25.01.2022 Lots of colour and some wonderful one of a kind works are coming together with the Brushlines group this week. Simone teaching the group some projects utilising layering techniques in alcohol ink and posca markers to define the details. The group is really enjoying the fluidity and freeform medium of alcohol ink.
22.01.2022 Everything's just beachy this week with our summer inspired Friends of Monica group. The lads and ladies enjoying their first instructor led session for 2020 with Helen Favretto, focusing on the beautiful blues of their coastal inspirations and working those palette knives into some beautiful artworks
21.01.2022 This week the Brushlines Art Group finished some magnificent soft pastels work with Melanie Brown. Fabulous work, and a huge thanks to Melanie for her expert tips and techniques.
20.01.2022 Yesterday the lovely Brushlines group had their last session with Simone, learning all about alcohol ink. The group graduated to display plates, using masking fluid to create some fantastic abstract artworks. These plates will form a display in the offices of Parkinson's SA in September. Can't wait to see the walls perk up with all the beautiful colours.

18.01.2022 The Brushlines Art Group have enjoyed a 4 week block in Pastels with Helen. Learning how to show movement in water, and shadowing and depth in fruit. Some gorgeous pieces on black, colour and white backgrounds. Thanks as always to the wonderful Helen for teaching the group.

13.01.2022 The Brushlines Art Group laid down some fundamentals in their new block, learning some techniques and tricks with alcohol ink. Simone taking the class for the first time, will be teaching the group for a 4 week block - encouraging the abstract and interpretive art of alcohol ink work. Week 1 was fundamentals, with the class looking forward to some yupo and acrylic projects to commence in week 2 and 3, finishing with an exhibition of painted plates. Looking forward to seeing some beautiful pieces in coming weeks.
12.01.2022 Neurons are appearing everywhere today as the Brushlines Art Group, led by the amazing Naomi Hunter explore neurons with polymer clay. These fantastic creations show the complex and always unique neurons that make up the working units of our brains, transmitting information to nerve cells, muscles and gland cells. The Brushlines Art Group will be curing their creations and using them as a base for some beautiful artworks to feature in our Art Exhibition being held at Living Choice in April.

02.01.2022 Today the Brushlines Art group started its first block of 2021 with Simone, learning the therapeutic benefits behind mindful labyrinth meditation. Today's session focussed on learning the history and techniques involved in the meditative aspects of labyrinths, and then some time creating our own paper labyrinth artworks. Over coming weeks the group will use a variety of mediums to create some 2d and 3d labyrinths. Looking forward to seeing what they create
01.01.2022 The amazingly talented Naomi Hunter joined the Brushlines Group in the last few weeks to continue their sessions that were unfortunately postponed amid the covid-19 lockdown. Finishing off their neuron work, using resists and watercolours to create their own interpretations of neurons. How amazing are these creations?
