Hear from gu...est speaker Issam Nabulsi, Director of Desypher, a Melbourne-based design office that aims to utilise the medium of architecture as a means of building cohesion within communities. He is the architect responsible for the Islamic Museum of Australia in Thornbury. Be sure to book in via Eventbrite (details in link).

07.01.2022 Congratulations to Friends of Shepparton Art Museum for bringing Isaam Nabulsi, the architect of the Islamic Museum of Australia, to Shepparton. He delivered a ...thought-provoking talk about the history of Islamic architecture and how changing needs should guide the modern version. He believes in an inviting, friendly and community-based approach to contemporary Islamic architecture, which was successfully incorporated in the IMA project. Isaam is a director of DESYPHER, a Melbourne-based design office that aims to utilise architecture as a way of building cohesion within communities. See more
