11.01.2022 It has been a crazy busy week! On Monday I was invited to speak to Year 5 students at Sacred Heart Primary School in Mosman. The kids had made beautiful signs and messages for the people of Soibada. They had been researching the history of Timor Leste and life there now. They had heaps of questions for me. It was exciting to see their enthusiasm and interest and feel their desire to help others. They have been raising funds to help with our projects. THANK You year 5 at Sacred Heart! Tamara

03.01.2022 Luis from Soibada would like to thank all of our donors for making huge developments in education possible for the students at Nicolas Lobato Senior High School and Technical College. Each week we transfer funds raised through our Chuffed campaign and more construction is done on their hospitality training centre classrooms. The campaign is still open for donations, every little bit helps. Please consider getting involved.

01.01.2022 HELP NEEDED - can you sew a basic tacking/running stitch? I need help tacking around these Tais hexagons to make things to sell to raise money for Soibada. Your stitching doesn’t need to be perfect because it will be pulled out of the final product. We are using the English Paper Piecing method of patchwork so we never waste a scrap of Tais. Tamara
